Susanna Reid reveals she lost weight following Tyson Fury's tip to skip milk in her coffee as he appears on Good Morning Britain following title draw

Fury, 30, shed 10st over the past year to prepare for his heavyweight showdown with KO specialist Deontay Wilder, and passed on winning advice to the 47-year-old presenter.

The Gypsy King admitted he was left devastated by his title draw result, but cracked a smile when Susanna reminded him that he helped her to lose weight.

Susanna said: "One of the things you have mentioned in the past couple of days is your weight, and it's something you and I have sparred over as well of course."

Her co-host Piers Morgan interjected: "She's lost two stone Tyson. After your little pep talk, Susanna's wasting away!"

Susanna laughed and said: "You suggested that I eliminate, well take away, milk from my coffee so now it's black coffee only.

" Thank you very much for that tip! We can all learn from Tyson."

Tyson, who worried fans when he revealed his slimmer frame, opened up about how he achieved his extraordinary weight loss.

He said: "I was just over 28st at my highest. This morning I weighed in at 17. With a diet and training programme, it can be achieved."

Susanna has been teetotal for almost three months in a bid to lose weight.

The Good Morning Britain presenter has been off the booze since early September to help slim down, but recently admitted "I really miss it".

In a new interview, the TV star, 47, revealed a doctor had warned her she had crept up to the "top end" of the body mass index scale.

Speaking on the Is It Just Me? podcast, Susanna explained why booze was the first thing to go.

She said: "When you cut alcohol out that is an easy couple of pounds.

"As you get older your memory is affected.

"I just thought 'alcohol is not great for your memory'."

However, she admitted that going to teetotal had been a struggle with her social life.

The mum of three elaborated: "I really miss it.

"When you are in a big social group and the shots come out, I miss letting my hair down."

Last month, The Sun On Sunday revealed Susanna had found love with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish.
