CELEBRITY SAS star Jake Quickenden was left screaming in agony as he was forced to quit the show with shoulder injury.
The 33-year-old star was rushed to hospital after "ripping the tendons from his bones" in a horror injury during filming.
Jake was forced out of the competition last night, with the freak accident leaving him in agony.
He sustained the injury in a water extraction challenge which involved being pulled out of the sea into a speedboat.
"Something’s happened bad," Jake cried out as he screamed in pain. "Something’s f*cked."
The X Factor star was then accessed by the medical team who told him he may have torn a tendon or part of the muscle in his arm.
Jake was gutted after being told he could no longer take part in the series and exclaimed: "For f*ck sake!"
Speaking about his premature departure, Jake – who now faces months of rehabilitation – shared: "The realisation that I couldn’t go on any further was a nightmare.
"It hurt, but I wasn’t bothered about the pain. I was just so annoyed that it meant my time was done and my journey was finished. I’m just absolutely devastated."
Jake needed surgery after the painful injury, which happened when he tried to pull himself onto a boat at sea.
The new dad explaining: "I ruptured my pec muscle and my bicep, so the tendons were torn straight off the bone.
"I had to have them stretched back to my shoulder. I have got four pins in my shoulder now where they are all pinned back into place.
"After the operation, I had no feeling in my arm at all for 48 hours. It was like my arm was totally gone."
Jake revealed his fears that he would not be able to hold his baby son after the devastating injury.
The reality star, whose son Leo was born in February, was among the strongest contestants which was filmed before the baby arrived.
Jake said he was "devastated" to leave the show before the end, adding: "I just wanted to finish that course, I was on the phone to the producer in the back of the ambulance asking if I could do next year, that's how much I wanted to finish it.
"As soon as I'd got injured, I looked at it and thought 'Right, here we go. I've got something else to get over now, I've got to get back to normal, I've got a baby on the way.'
"I didn't have Leo at the time and I thought 'I don't want to be not able to hold him,' so I need to get this operation done and get back to normal."
But Jake hasn't been put off the Channel 4 show, insisting that he wants to return to complete his stint next year because he is desperate to test his mental strength during the famous interrogation challenge.
The controversial survival show has left many of its celeb contestants with injuries this year, with Ulrika Jonsson also forced out after coming down with hyperthermia.
Saira Khan is taking legal action after breaking her ankle, and Kieron Dyer punctured a lung after breaking his ribs.
