Inside Joe Biden's Delaware beach house he'll be spending the weekend in INSTEAD of the White House

JOE Biden and first lady Jill have swapped the White House for their $2.74 million Delaware vacation home.

They have been staying in their 4,786-square-foot home which boasts six bedrooms plus five bathrooms, a "gourmet" kitchen, three fireplaces and numerous decks and porches.

Built in 2007, the 0.34-acre home also features a stone patio, fireplace, summer kitchen and outdoor showers — and dog wash.

County records also reveal an in-ground pool was installed after the Bidens bought the swish property.

It is located in the posh North Shores neighborhood near the beach and the Gordons Pond section of Cape Henlopen State Park.

Here the Bidens have been spotted riding bikes on a trail through wetlands.

While, an impressive home, it is in stark contrast to former President Donald Trump’s sprawling Palm Beach club the ritzy Florida enclave around Mar-a-Lago.

During his time in power it was been dubbed "the winter White House" because he spend so much time there during Washington DC's cold months.

The Bidens arrived in Rehoboth Beach on Wednesday ahead of the first lady’s 70th birthday the following day.

They flew back out yesterday afternoon after the president delivered a speech on the May jobs report at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.

This week’s visit marked the president’s first visit to the Bidens’ vacation home since his inauguration, the New York Post reported.

They last visited Rehoboth Beach in November.

While Biden was visiting, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control officials shut parts of the Gordons Pond area.

Rehoboth Beach Police Lt. Jaime Riddle told the Delaware News Journal: "We will try to keep it as brief as we possibly can and we will try to inconvenience people as little as possible, but we obviously have no control over that."

The Bidens have long been Rehoboth Beach vacationers, including during his vice presidency, eported.

After the couple snapped up the property in 2017, Biden told the Cape Gazette they "have dreamed of being able to buy a place where we can bring the whole family".

He added: "We feel very lucky that we're now able to make that happen and are looking forward to spending time with our family in the place that matters most to us in the world."

Rehoboth Beach is known as "the nation’s summer capital" because of its long-running reputation as a popular getaway for D.C. politicos.

The city has a beach and downtown there is a boardwalk, bandstand, restaurants, boutiques plus  an amusement park.

Biden's main non-Washington residence is a 5,748-square-foot lakefront mansion in Wilmington, Delaware.

The house is set back away from the road on a four-acre property.

It includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a half-bath.
