The 21-year-old man who jumped to his death from the Vessel in Hudson Yards was wanted for killing his mother in Texas, The Post has learned.
Franklin Washington leapt from atop the NYC attraction around 11:45 a.m. Monday and was pronounced dead minutes later by EMS, according to cops.
Detectives learned that Washington, who had a San Antonio address, was being eyed by cops there in the murder of his mother, police sources said.
The details of the murder were not immediately known.
San Antonio police and the NYPD did not immediately respond to a request for additional information.
Washington was the third person to commit suicide at the Vessel since the tourist attraction opened to the public.
In December, a 24-year-old Brooklyn woman died after jumping from the Vessel. Last February, a 19-year-old former rugby star from New Jersey became the first person to commit suicide at the structure.
