Mum, 36, goes missing with one-year-old son as cops launch desperate hunt in Surrey

POLICE are appealing for the public's help in finding a missing mum who has gone missing with her young child. 

Almira Aljkanovic, 36, from Guildford, was last seen earlier on today and her family are concerned.

It is believed that she is with her child, a 12 month-old boy. 

It is thought she is likely to be travelling by foot or public transport.  

Almira is described as a white woman with blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a white top with blue dots and blue trousers.

In separate and unconnected appeal, Surrey Police have also issued a missing person appeal today for a missing elderly man who disappeared from a Surrey hospital.

Alan Charlesworth, 75, from Cobham, was last seen at St Peters Hospital, Chertsey, at around lunchtime on Monday (7 June) after he was brought in by an ambulance suffering from chest pains.
