One man killed, another wounded in Brooklyn shooting

One man was killed and another hurt after gunfire erupted in Brooklyn, police said.

Cops responding to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 656 Bradford St. in East New York at about 9:45 p.m. Friday found Noel Kennedy, 23, with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Kennedy was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Later, a 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his abdomen, back and arm made it on his own to Brookdale Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, said authorities, who believe the victim was also hurt in the Bradford Street incident.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
