A woman has told of being groped by perverted bathers in the same area of the sea where a 15-year-old girl was raped.
Investigations to identify the man who lured the schoolgirl into deeper water before forcing her to have sex her in front of thousands of unsuspecting people are continuing today.
The shocking incident happened at 3.30pm on Sunday while the beach at Bournemouth, Dorset, was packed.
The teenage victim was approached by her attacker when a ball she and her friends were playing with in the sea landed close to him.
Although he threw it back he began talking to her before pulling her out into deeper water close to Bournemouth Pier.
Despite there being crowds of people in the water and on the pier, the young man then raped the girl under the cover of the water.
He had told her that he was aged 17 and had travelled to Bournemouth from the Birmingham area.
Police are examining CCTV footage in a bid to identify the rapist.

News of the shocking incident has led to one woman to post on social media about her experience of recently being molested in the sea off Bournemouth.
She said: ‘I went a few weeks back and everyone was groping me in the water.
‘There was hundreds of people and it was people passing me by in the water so I couldn’t really get a good look at them.
‘I just kept swimming to other areas. It happened everywhere though and I’m fine.’
Meanwhile, local resident have spoken of their shock and horror at the rape attack.
Emma Gray posted on social media: ‘Hope the vile human is found and locked up. I really hope the victim gets all the support she needs. She will be terrified of returning to the beach.’

‘I know that the beach was very busy on the day of the incident so I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.
‘Also, I would urge anyone who was on the beach in the vicinity of the Oceanarium to check any photographs or video footage taken to see if they have captured anything of relevance.
