Lindsay Lohan Unloads on Tamar Braxton, 'Celebrity Big Brother' After Mom Dina Doesn't Win

In a stream of Tweets and Instagram comments, Lohan rails on the show.

Lindsay Lohan’s social media pages lit up on Thursday night, as the actress/reality star began slamming "Celebrity Big Brother" and winner Tamar Braxton while defending her mother, Dina.

Dina Lohan made it to the Top 4 on the CBS show, but failed to crack the Top 2 after Ricky Williams decided to keep Tamar around and cut Lindsay’s mother and Lolo Jones. Braxton ended up winning the season, after a unanimous vote.

Lindsay first began criticizing the show on Instagram, on two different posts on the show’s official page announcing Tamar as the winner. "Bullshit" and "#cheapskate," she wrote in the comments.

She then posted a selfie on her own page, with the caption, "Finally #family @alianalohan #free @cbs_bigbrother you suck and get no Valentine’s from @lohanbeachclub @mtv. My mother is an AMAZING woman and she did so well." Lohan later deleted the caption, which also read, "The secrets she told me a few hours ago are going to #EXPOSE #YOUALL #dinalohan #dfwm."

Her attacks got a little more personal late Thursday night. After Tamar sent out a link to one of her old songs, "Bluebird of Happiness," on Twitter, Lohan responded directly.

"Congrats. God bless you. But you are not any friend of women," Lindsay wrote. "You’re deceptive and conniving and so is this #RR MONEY IS MORE TO YOU than being a strong woman #sadness bless you #HappyValentinesDay #KarmaSuperHit"

Braxton has yet to respond on social media.

Lohan also got major blowback on her Twitter when she took aim at runner-up Ricky Williams as well, tweeting out a video from the show in which he says he put Kandi Burruss and Dina up for elimination because "they don’t sleep with me." This was a reference to his "Bedroom Alliance" with Tamar, Lolo Jones and Natalie Eva Marie, who all shared the same room on the show.

"So ⁦@Kandi⁩ ⁦@dinalohan⁩ are respectable women who don’t ‘sleep’ with you #rapyricky you’re gonna throw shade?" she tweeted. "Talk about a #MeToo #YoureTheWorst"

Her followers were quick to point out the "Bedroom Alliance" from the show, slamming her for the tweet.

Reps for Williams, Braxton and Lohan were not immediately available for comment.

Did La La Anthony Confirm Carmelo Past Cheating Rumors With This Post?

AceShowbizLa La Anthony did her Valentine’s Day tribute to Carmelo Anthony in a different way. Instead of sharing a sweet message to her husband, the 39-year-old was more like giving him a warning that she could leave him any minute once he hurts her.

The “Power” actress shared on her Instagram account two photos of her getting cozy to Carmelo, with whom she recently reunited. One photo saw her sitting on Carmelo’s lap while sticking out her tongue. As for the other photo, it featured the happy couple sharing a laugh with La La hugging her husband from the back.

The photos were adorable, but it was the caption that raised people’s eyebrows. La La quoted the lyrics from Beyonce Knowles‘ “Don’t Hurt Youself” off her “Lemonade” album. The song was an ode for her to Jay-Z‘s affair. “YOU KNOW I GIVE YOU LIFE…IF YOU TRY THIS S**T AGAIN…YOU GON LOSE YOUR WIFE,” La La captioned the snaps. “I’ve loved you since you were 19 & I will love you forever HAPPY VDAY MY LOVE.”

Fans were convinced that La La confirmed rumors of Carmelo cheating on her with the caption. “Yesssss with the caption!!!! Don’t f*** Up again @carmeloanthony,” one fan wrote in the comment section. “That boy got a 2nd chance… See, why y’all can’t be like LaLa,” another fan added, while someone else echoed, “Yas caption! Love is about growth and forgiveness!”

La La was not the only one who did a Valentine’s Day tribute as Carmelo shared an equally sweet photo of them on his account. The snap saw the backside of the couple during a hiking outing. ” ‘The Best Thing To Hold Onto In Life Is Each Other’ Happy [heart emoji] Day to my Earth @lala Love You!!! #STAYME7O,” he gushed in the caption.

Prior to this, La La opened up about her reconciliation with the basketball player. “Pray a lot. Believe in God. Talk to people that I know have my best interest at heart,” she said to at the 2019 Starz Winter TCA Press Tour in Los Angeles on February 12. “Talk to my husband. Communicate. Hold each other accountable for things that we could both be doing in the marriage and also making the marriage a priority.”

She added, “When you live in this world and it’s work and it’s children, it’s this, it’s that, it’s easy to forget about the marriage and you have to remember to put the marriage at the forefront. I think that people just kind of always assume that it’ll be there and they forget that that’s work in itself.”

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged.

The couple shared a heartwarming Instagram featuring Perry’s ruby flower-shaped engagement ring on Valentine’s Day.

Perry, 34, captioned the partial glimpse of their faces “full bloom” while the actor, 42, posted the same picture writing, “lifetimes.”

While the stars didn’t share much, Perry’s mom, Mary Hudson, couldn’t contain her excitement.

Hudson shared several photos from what appears to be the couple’s engagement party.

“Look who got engaged on Valentine’s Day!!” she beamed.

Photos show Perry dressed in red and Bloom in a suit surrounded by dozens of red flowers in a heart-shaped arrangement. Another picture revealed a close-up look at the engagement ring.

In the hours before their party, Bloom shared a message perhaps expressing his love for his lady.

“A shallow person will have only shallow relationships. Real love is not one person clinging to another, it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality,” he mused. “Antoine de Saint – Exupery, author of ‘The Little Prince’ wrote in a work called ‘Wind, Sand and Stars,’ ‘Love is not two people gazing at each other, but two people looking ahead together in the same direction.’”

The pair first began dating in 2016 but broke up around March 2017. They rekindled their romance in early 2018 with a trip to the Maldives.

Perry was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012. Bloom was previously married to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013 and shares 8-year-old son Flynn with her.

Meg Ryan, Dennis Quaid's fame didn't 'hit' son Jack until their divorce: ‘I saw a People magazine’ cover

Jack Quaid spoke about growing up with his famous parents, Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, during the Amazon Prime Video "The Boys" panel at the Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, in Pasadena, Calif.

PASADENA – Jack Quaid may be the son of Hollywood A-listers Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, but the actor didn't realize just how famous his parents were until they called it quits on their marriage.

"It didn't really hit me to be honest until they got divorced and I saw like a People magazine [cover] like the two of them with the ripped graphic in between," the 26-year-old star told reporters during the Amazon portion of the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

"I was like, 'Oh! Okay. So everyone knows,'" Jack continued, noting that growing up he always had an idea of his parents' star statuses.

"I knew, but it just kind of felt normal to me," he added. "They were just my parents. They're still just my parents."

The former couple — who fell in love as co-stars filming the 1988 movie “D.O.A.” — tied the knot in 1991 and had son, Jack, one year later. However, the pair eventually called it quits in June 2000 when Jack was 8. Their divorce was finalized in 2001.

Fast-forward to today, Jack has followed in his parents acting footsteps and is set to star in Amazon's sci-fi action series, "The Boys," for his latest project. Asked if Ryan, 57, or Quaid, 64, ever gave him industry advice, Jack insists they never really did.

"I don't think they ever gave me advice in terms of like, 'Here's what you do when you have this scene,'" Jack admitted. "I came to the conclusion on my own because I did 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' when I was in middle school. I was [Nick] Bottom, and I got my first laugh on stage, and I was like: 'That's it! Forever. This is it. I love this.'"

"So after that, I tried to pursue it as much as I could on my own," he continued. "But what was so great about growing up with them is that they would prove that it was possible, you know? Like these are two people who I love and respect so much who are doing this thing and getting paid for it, and basically just getting paid for doing what they love."

As a result, watching the success of his parents careers over the years helped solidify Jack's desire to act.

"So I was like, 'OK it is possible.' I didn't grow up in a family that said to me, 'Oh you want to be an actor? Well, that's impossible,'" he explained. "I'm eternally grateful for their support and just being an example."

"The Boys" is set to air this year on Amazon.

Simon Cowell launching Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in epic TV overhaul

Simon Cowell is launching a new version of Britain’s Got Talent next year as part of his extensive TV overhaul.

The telly mogul, 59, has confirmed the normal series of BGT will air along with a new series of Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.

It will feature winners from previous series and be hosted by regular presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

The new show is slated to air in the autumn, filling a slot left vacant by Simon’s revamped X Factor .

It follows the success of the American version – America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

Simon told The Sun : "So we’ve now got AGT and we’ve got AGT Champions.

"That was a very good change so there will be a BGT Champions.

"We are 100 per cent not resting on our laurels."

Simon has also revealed plans to overhaul The X Factor following a ratings slump in recent years.

He intends to introduce a celebrity version of the singing show along with an all-star edition with former contestants.

The two versions of The X Factor will run back-to-back later this year – the celebrity show followed by the all-star format.

Simon said he is "waiting for confirmation" on dates and details on the second show, but that they are trying to "upgrade and glamorise" it.

He confirmed he has been offered a five-year deal on both formats, but that he has not yet agreed to them, and that The X Factor will be different again next year.

The announcement comes after the show’s overnight audience figures plummeting to some of their lowest in its 15-year history while rival show Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One continued to flourish.

Editors Guild Urges Academy To Reconsider Award Presentations During Commercial Breaks

EXCLUSIVE: The Editors Guild has joined the tsunami of protests over the Film Academy’s decision to hand out four Oscars – including the one for Best Editing – during commercial breaks in the February 24 telecast on ABC. The Academy’s decision, which also relegates cinematographers, makeup artists and hairstylists and producers of live-action shorts to the back of the Oscar bus, is being widely viewed as a snub of below-the-line crafts – a charge the Academy vehemently disputes.

“In its mandate to shorten the Academy Awards’ telecast, the Academy has insulted all of us who work ‘below the line.’ Many of our members and those of other IATSE Locals are understandably upset,” Editors Guild president Alan Heim said tonight in an email to his members. Read the letter in full below.

Local 700’s letter follows a similar statement today by American Cinema Editors, the honor society. “Although we understand the tremendous pressure put on the Academy by the ABC Network to shorten the show to three hours,” ACE president Stephen Rivkin. wrote, “we cannot agree with any idea that diminishes the effort for which we have fought so hard: to promote and recognize film editing as the key creative position that it holds in the process of making a film.

“Compressing four categories and presenting them in a shortened version later during the Oscar telecast, will not amount to enough running time to save more than a handful of minutes,” Rivkin continued. “This is hardly enough to be worth the amount of negative sentiment expressed by our ACE membership and the industry as a whole. We respectfully ask that the Academy and ABC please consider an alternative to this decision and equally honor the people who actually make the movies.”

Others including the International Cinematographers Guild and IATSE president Matt Loeb also have weighed in, along with an open letter to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences signed by many dozens of high-profile filmmakers and others. All disagree with the plan to shorten the Oscars by cutting the four live awards presentations.

And earlier today, American Society of Cinematographers president Kees van Oostrum told Deadline exclusively that he has requested an urgent meeting with Academy CEO Dawn Hudson to discuss the matter.

Here is the full letter from Alan Heim, President of Motion Picture Editors Guild:

Dear members,

In its mandate to shorten the Academy Awards’ telecast, the Academy has insulted all of us who work “below the line.” Many of our members and those of other IATSE Locals are understandably upset.

The people who watch the Awards across the nation and the world should be fully exposed to ALL of the crafts that go into the creation of a film.  The Awards should be entertaining but they are also an opportunity to enrich the film-going experience of the audience by informing them of the creativity our crafts bring to every project. How many people over the years have been motivated to pursue careers in film after watching the Awards? The educational value may be even more important than the entertainment.

It doesn’t matter which categories are affected this year or next; none of them should be. The very idea is anathema to the collaborative nature of filmmaking. The Academy has historically honored ALL of the crafts involved in filmmaking and the search for better TV ratings shouldn’t affect that. We have always been told that the Academy honors the very best in filmmaking, but removing some categories from equal acknowledgement on the air seems to contradict that narrative.

There is much outcry for the Academy to reverse its decision, and the Motion Picture Editors Guild joins those voices. If it does not reverse its decision, let us all do everything we can to see that this demeaning experiment will not be repeated.

Yours in solidarity,

Alan Heim, ACE
President, Motion Picture Editors Guild IATSE Local 700

Kendall Jenner Showed Rare PDA with Ben Simmons for Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is here, and perhaps the day dedicated to love is finally encouraging Kendall Jenner, who closely guards her relationship status, to publicly display her romance with boyfriend Ben Simmons.

Last night, paparazzi snapped pictures of the couple holding hands in in NYC, which is an adorable PDA move, but a surprising one, considering the couple has played coy in the media about their relationship thus far.

“I’m not marrying anyone. I’m not engaged. There’s nothing long-term or serious like that in my life,” Jenner told Harper’s Bazaar for her May 2017 cover shoot. “If I’m not fully, fully in it with someone, why would I make it public to everyone else? If I don’t even know what it is, why would I let the world know?”

Jenner added that relationships are “sacred” and continued: “It’s something between two people, and nobody else’s opinion needs to be involved in it. People want to start drama. If I had a boyfriend, people are going to say all this stuff that’s probably going to cause us to break up.”

Last night, the two were spotted getting affectionate and boo’d up. Simmons, a basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers, was in town for a game against the New York Knicks. Kendall, on the other hand, was in town for New York Fashion Week. After Simmons’ team won the game, he and Jenner were spotted grabbing dinner at Zuma then hit up Marquee night club in West Chelsea, according to Elle.

Simmons and Jenner’s love timeline began in May 2018, when Page Six first reported that Kendall and Ben were an item, citing a source who told the publication the pair had been dating “for a few weeks” by then. At the time, they were spotted at Vandal bar and lounge in N.Y.C. and had a lunch date at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles the following week.

Things heated up between the two of them over the summer, but by the end of August, E News! reported that Kendall and Ben’s romance had “cooled off,” but are still “texting.” The inside source claimed that Kendall has “been spending time with other people” and that she was never “fully committed” to the NBA player.

Fast-forward to 2019, Kendall and Ben seem to have found a relationship status that works for them. When the model posted some behind-the-scenes footage of her posing in a bikini to Instagram, Simmons commented: “Come here ..” and to our surprise, she flirted back by posting the race car and gust emojis, suggesting she’s down to see Ben soon. Basketball fans have also caught Jenner sitting court-side at Simmons’ games.

Last week while she was on Ellen, the day-time television host prodded about the model’s relationship status and teased Kendall with photos of her watching one of Ben’s games. “Who’s that guy that’s in the way?” Ellen asked her about Simmons. “I’m not so sure,” Jenner responded. “Obviously you’re dating this guy, right? I don’t know him but he seems sweet by that picture. How long have you been dating him?” Ellen inquired. “For a bit now,” Jenner finally admitted.

On top of that, Kendall and Ben were spotted at popular NYC eatery Cipriani last week, where she showed him some affection by wrapping her arms around Ben during their dinner date night.

There’s no word yet if couple has plans for Valentine’s Day later tonight. However, it’s safe to guess that if her potential European fashion month schedule permits, Kendall will likely fly down to Miami where Ben is set to play against the Miami Heat on February 21.

Prince Harry Hangs Out in an Igloo Surrounded by Pictures of Meghan Markle — Yes, Really

We hope Meghan’s ready to get the kettle on, because when Prince Harry gets home from work, he’s going to need warming up. The prince spent Valentine’s Day in freezing temperatures, as he paid a visit 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. Harry’s visit was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Exercise Clockwork, an elite training exercise that teaches military personnel how to operate, fight, and survive in extreme cold weather. Harry — who took over the role of Captain General of the Royal Marines in 2017 — arrived at the base in uniform, fitting right in as he met troops, and received a briefing on the operation.

During his visit, Harry also checked out Quincey Shelter, a version of an igloo that is dug out and used in emergencies; the troops surprised Harry by decorating the inside of the igloo with candles, romantic music, and framed photos of him and Meghan on their wedding day. “You weirdos! Nice,” Harry remarked with a laugh. He also called it “homey” and “romantic,” adding, “It’s very kind of you to invite me into your private, err, shrine.” See all the photos from his trip ahead.

Pete Davidson Referred to Himself as K-Fed Ahead of Split From Ariana

Mr. Grande? Ahead of their split, Pete Davidson poked fun at a title he could’ve potentially been saddled with had he married ex-fiancée Ariana Grande.

The Saturday Night Live star, 25, filmed an episode of Kevin Hart’s YouTube series, Kevin Hart: What the Fit Opens a New Window. , which was posted on Thursday, February 14. A clip from the show features the Going Places actor and show lead Hart, 39, helping an unsuspecting family out with a move.

“Oh, my God, you’re engaged to Ariana Grande,” one of the family members says while shaking Davidson’s hand.

“Yes! I am!” the comedian responds. “I’m Mr. Grande. It’s me! The new Kevin Federline. How are you?”

The day winds up ending in disaster, however, as the Trainwreck actor, who is “super allergic” to dogs, has a bad reaction to the family’s pooches, coughing and pouring water on his head. “Pete Davidson is having an asthma attack right in front of our face,” the Night School producer and writer says in the video.

Davidson then heads outside, where a medic assists him with an oxygen mask. “Yo, Kev, I’ll be in a minute,” he says through laughs. “Kevin, are we still friends?”

“100 percent your friend,” Hart assures him.

Ultimately, the Guy Code alum’s relationship with the Grammy winner, 25, didn’t go as planned either: The pop star ended their engagement after four months in October.

“They realized it happened too quick and too early,” a source told Us Weekly of the pair at the time.

Grande hinted that their union faced other issues, like her feelings for late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, with the release of “Ghostin,” which debuted on February 8 along with the rest of her Thank U, Next album.

“I know that it breaks your heart when I cry again / Over him, mmh / … Though I wish he were here instead / Don’t want that living in your head / He just comes to visit me / When I’m dreaming every now and then (And then),” she croons on the song.

A source told Us that Miller’s death in September made things difficult for Grande and Davidson. “It put a tremendous amount of strain on their relationship,” the source told Us at the time.

Davidson, who has been hanging out with Kate Beckinsale since the 2019 Golden Globes, recently had a tattoo inspired by his ex-fiancée covered up with the word, “Cursed.”
