Danni Menzies spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about an “exciting” new show she is filming for Channel 4, although she is keeping tight-lipped on the details so far.
The A Place in the Sun star described how her new gig “might involve property and sunshine” as she prepared to meet property show fans at The Ideal Home Show.
Asked if she had any interesting TV projects in the pipeline, Danni confirmed: “While The Ideal Home Show’s on, I’ve got three days doing that…
“But then actually sort of in between that, I’m going to be filming something new for Channel 4 which I’m really excited about.
“It might involve property, it might involve sunshine… But it’s not exactly A Place in the Sun! That’s all I can say for now.”
Danni recently stepped out of her comfort zone to film episodes for Channel 5 series, The Challenge, where contestants battle it out in competitive challenges in order to win the grand prize money.
The show, which was filmed in Argentina last year, aired back in February and included various celebs including former Love Island stars Curtis Pritchard and Kaz Crossley.
Asked if she would be keen to partake in more reality TV shows in the future, Danni confirmed that she would.

“I mean, yeah, all of them – they’re all good fun,” she said. “And the one thing that I really enjoyed about The Challenge was being out of my comfort zone.
“But I think if I could do a reality show, like Strictly where you actually learn how to do something – and I can’t dance, I’m terrible – but going on something like that where you learn a skill would be really fun.”
Speaking about the Ideal Home Show, which is the world’s longest-running home and interiors exhibition for keen home-owners, Danni recalled the fun she had last year on the Super Theatre Stage.
This time around, she said she is “chatting about buying property abroad and giving my top tips”.
Danni also hinted that fans might get some “juicy” intel about filming A Place in the Sun, as there were plenty of “good questions” last time about how the show gets made.
She described how “lovely” it was to meet fans of the property show last year, as it had “brought some sunshine into people’s lives” during the height of lockdown.
The Ideal Home Show, in partnership with Sky Glass, is the world’s longest-running home and interiors exhibition and is returning to Olympia London from Friday 17th March until Sunday 2nd April.
