Christian shot to fame as part of the boyband A1. The British-Norwegian boyband formed in 1998 and the original line-up included Paul Marazzi, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read and Ben Adams.

A1 reached the top spot in the UK Top 40 on two occasions with their hits Take On Me and Same Old Brand New You in 2000.

However their pop dream came to a sudden screeching halt in 2002 when Paul decided to leave citing “personal reasons” and the three remaining members decided to call it a day.

In 2009 A1 reformed without Paul and went on to release two albums and star in the ITV2 documentary The Big Reunion.

In 2018 the band reformed, this time with Paul, as they celebrated the band's twentieth anniversary.

Outside of A1, Christian has also found success as a solo artist. He released his debut solo album, Take Back Yesterday, in December 2003, before he went onto release a Christmas album for the Norwegian Salvation Army which included two songs written by Christian.

Alongside welcoming his baby daughter, he now works as a full-time artist, songwriter and producer.
