The ‘Pitch Perfect’ star takes to Instagram to clarify that he is not the Maroon 5 frontman, who has been accused of sending flirty messages to multiple women despite being married to model Behati Prinsloo.
AceShowbiz –Adam Devine has the best response to Adam Levine cheating scandal. Easily being mistaken for the Maroon 5 singer due to their similar names, the actor/singer has clarified that he is not the “This Love” crooner who has been accused of sending flirty messages to multiple women despite being married to model Behati Prinsloo.
Devine took to Instagram on Friday, September 23 to take a jibe at all the buzz surrounding the drama. Along with a picture of him and his wife Chloe Bridges, whom he wed in October 2019, the 38-year-old wrote in the caption, “Just want to post this and say that my wife @chloebridges and I are doing great and going strong. I am not Adam Levine.”
The “Pitch Perfect” star went on joking, “He’s a different guy and a worse singer.” He added, “We are however naming our future baby Sumner,” referencing Levine’s alleged message to Sumner Stroh in which he asked her if it’s okay if he names his unborn baby with Prinsloo after the Instagram model.
Many found Devine’s post hilarious as Whitney Cummings wrote in the comment section, “Hahahaha! Hahahaha! Oh god I know you’ve been waiting for this day to come.”
Playing along with Devine, OneRepublic‘s Ryan Tedder jokingly reprimanded the actor, “I need you to stop DMing me d**k pics bro. So 2014.” To this, the “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” star replied, “just trying to get you to watch the masterpiece that is my d**k and balls in @gameovermanfilm.”
Stroh was the first to expose Levine’s alleged infidelity. In a TikTok video, she claimed that she and Levine had a relationship for about a year, when he’s already married to Prinsloo. The 23-year-old model said they have not talked for months now, but shared a screenshot of an alleged message sent by the singer to her in which he asked, “Ok, serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You OK with that? DEAD serious.”
Levine later issued a statement denying that he had “an affair,” but admitted to showing “poor judgement” and that he “crossed the line.” However, more women have since come forward with similar stories.
Most recently, a 21-year-old girl from Alabama said Levine sent her flirty messages almost daily and often replied to photos of her working out, knowing that she’s still in college. Ashley Russell, who was 20 years old at the time, told Daily Mail, “He would like mainly like booty stories and would always reply with something to do with leg or booty day at the gym.”
Prinsloo has not publicly reacted to the affair allegations against her husband. She and the former “The Voice” coach have been putting on a united front during their outings following the cheating scandal.
