Adele responds to recent trend of items being thrown at performers onstage
Adele told fans that she collapsed backstage during her Las Vegas residency due to a sciatica attack, according to reports.
The singer, 35, reportedly told her fans at The Colosseum that a member of her production team found her unable to move backstage.
According to The Sun, she told fans: “They picked my whole body up off the floor.”
Adele was also forced to sit down during her Weekends With Adele performance, explaining: “I am going to sit down and rest my sciatica.”
The Easy On Me hitmaker recently returned to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace after a month-long break, with her Vegas shows set to run up until November.

Sciatica is where the sciatic nerve, which runs from your lower back to your feet, is irritated or compressed, causing stabbing pains through the bottom and the back of your leg, according to the NHS.
Earlier this year Adele detailed her chronic back pain during another Las Vegas show as she hobbled across the stage.
While talking to the crowd as she fired T-shirts into the crowd using a handheld cannon, she said: “I’ve got two more, I’ve just got to get over to the other side of the stage.
“I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica,” Adele added in the video obtained by the Daily Star.

She has previously opened up about her health struggles over the years and discussed her dramatic weight loss which saw the singer lose 100lbs.
Adele revealed she first slipped a disc at 15 and when she had a C-section with her son Angelo, nine, but her problems increased.
Speaking to The Face magazine in November 2021, amid the weight loss the singer mused: “I’m definitely really happy now… I’m more agile because I can now move more, because of my back. I got my core strong…
“I slipped my first disc when I was 15 from sneezing. I was in bed and I sneezed and my fifth one flew out. In January, I slipped my sixth one, my L6. And then when I had a C‑section, my core was useless.
