Beyonce had a special birthday request for everyone attending her concerts this week – but one celebrity attendee refused.
On Monday evening, Adele was seen smiling and laughing along with her fiance Rich Paul as they sat in the VIP box during the Beyonce birthday concert in Los Angeles, California.
Bey celebrated her 2nd birthday by putting on a spectacular performance in front of a number of star-studded guests, including the Kardashians and Meghan Markle.
However, it appears that Adele decided to wear an all-black outfit to the event after Beyonce had asked concert-goers to wear their “most fabulous” silver outfits in order to celebrate her special day with her.
On Instagram, Beyonce wrote: “Virgo season is upon us. This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22!”
“We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night, everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together in the house of chrome. See you there!”

Adele, who is known for her signature black dresses, was seen at the Beyonce birthday concert wearing a long-shelved black jacket with hoop earrings
However, the singer also confessed before the concert that she was thinking of wearing wear a black tracksuit instead after struggling to find something silver to wear.
Adele spoke about Beyonce and being able to secure tickets during her recent ‘Weekend with Adele’ performance in Las Vegas.
She told the audience: “I’m gonna go see Beyonce on Monday; I’m very excited, you know, I like to get dressed up every weekend, and obviously this is her birthday show. So I was like, ‘I’m not going in silver.’
“Like, I love my girl, but I ain’t wearing silver. I don’t even own silver, alright? So I’m just gonna wear like a black tracksuit/sweatsuit.”

Adele then explained that she had ordered a silver outfit, but was feeling uncertain about it. She continued: “I was awake ’til like 3am the other night on Amazon buying, like, glitter ball clothes. She asked everyone to dress up so I’m gonna look really cheap in like a disco ball.
“It’s all from Amazon, and it’s arriving over the weekend while I’m here so god knows what I’m gonna look like.”
On social media, some fans of both Adele and Beyonce have admitted to being disappointed that the singer did to honor Beyonce’s birthday wish.
On Twitter, one user said: “Adele said she didn’t want to wear silver to Beyonce’s birthday party, but I would wear a bag over my head if Queen B wanted it.”
Another person commented: “Adele is so funny, can’t believe she said she’s not wearing silver.”
Someone else wrote: “Adele panic buying on Amazon is hilarious, she’s just like me…I also wear black to everything, it really is Adele’s favorite color.”
