Alice Evans speaks about her divorce from Ioan Gruffudd
Alice Evans has announced that she’s found “intense love” just one month after finalising her acrimonious divorce from Ioan Gruffudd.
The actress, who didn’t say who the love was for, took to Instagram at 4am on Thursday to share snaps with her daughters Ella, 13, and Elsie, nine, at her 55th birthday dinner.
She captioned one image: “We had the BEST TIME EVER. Instagram won’t let me put in all the pics in one go. ( wisely, probably!)
“I am SO in love right now and cannot believe I only felt this level of intense love at 55.
“More info coming. Love you all for being so kind to me. I will never forget. I may sound cryptic but life has taught me (at least on small measures) to be cautious. All will become clear. Love love love love you all.”

In some of the photos, Alice strikes a series of poses in a black top and blazer with a printed blue mini skirt and black ankle boots.
The joyous outing follows some serious family drama, including her eldest daughter Ella reportedly losing her bid for a restraining order against her father.
It was also reported that Ella had petitioned for a civil harassment protection order against Gruffudd’s actress girlfriend Bianca Wallace, which was denied.

Her father had announced his relationship with Bianca, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, in October 2021.
Ioan had filed for divorce from Alice in March 2021, shortly after Evans took to social media to claim that her husband of 14 years was abandoning her and their two daughters.
The actress tweeted: “Sad news. My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week.
“Me and our young daughters are very confused and sad. We haven’t been given a reason except that he ‘no longer loves me’. I’m so sorry.”
Last month, a judge granted the Fantastic Four actor’s request for divorce amid the pair’s ongoing custody battle.
The Welsh star had filed for bifurcation and termination of marital status on May 18, which would allow the estranged couple to be declared legally divorced during their settlement negotiations.
Although they are now officially divorced, the legal battles between the two, who met while co-starring in the 2000 Disney film 102 Dalmatians, are not done.
The pair will seemingly continue to fight over custody of their daughters with Ioan recently accusing his ex-wife of publicly maligning him and his girlfriend.
He has filed court documents that claim Alice is setting up fake Twitter accounts that call him and girlfriend Bianca “child abusers”. He also claimed that she called him a “f***ing abuser” and “abusive c***” in front of Ella at his LA home.
Since the split, Alice has made a series of public attacks against the actor, which led to him submit 113 pages of rant-filled texts and emails to the courts in a bid to get a restraining order against her.
He told the court that he made her aware that he wanted to end the marriage in August 2020 and since then she has sent him hundreds of texts, abusive emails and social media posts, many of which he shared in the filing.
He successfully got a three-year restraining order against her by a US judge in August 2022, one of the terms restricts her from leaking private text messages from their children. He has since had her back into court for violating the order.
