Britain’s Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, 52, is well-known for her daring style and is unafraid to try bold looks and show off some skin.
Her latest show on Sky History will peel back the stories on romance and bedrooms across the Roman and Regency periods.
Describing the show as “Horrible Histories for adults”, Amanda shared with The Mirror how she wished should return to the past.
She shared: “We’ve gone backwards, not forwards. I think everyone was having a much nicer time. Nothing was off the table.”
While confirming that she only presented the show, she mentioned she enjoyed visiting the costume department.
“I dressed up as Marilyn Monroe, Queen Charlotte, Cleopatra…”
When asked whether she could take any outfits home, she mentioned that she has the Marilyn Monroe one, “That’s a date-night special.”
Amanda also spoke about her fashion-forward style, revealing that she found it funny how she is sometimes described.
She said: “It does make me laugh what the press write. I’m not flaunting. I’m walking. The language in the stories is so weird.”
She also set the record straight on being pictured without wearing a bra.

“I’m not braless. The fact is, I’m wearing SKIMS, but my nipples are always affected by the cold.”
Joking about a Princess and the Pea analogy, she mentioned that they were her “compass” and they would help her “never get lost”.
Her style is also a talking point on her regular Britain’s Got Talent panel, which was recently voted the most-watched show of the year.
Amanda celebrated this achievement with a fun post of her posing in a skin-tight pink dress.
Comedian and Funny Man Alan Carr, 46, reacted with five clapping emojis.
Amanda also revealed that whilst she was sad that former Little Britain star, David Walliams, 51, was booted off the show, she was excited about the judge’s replacement.
Speaking on Bruno Tonioli, 67, Amanda mentioned: “Bruno has added a new dynamic.
“It’s nice having a different pair of eyes. He’d never seen it before so he didn’t know what he was doing. He is just a ball of energy.”
She also shared reunited with judges Alesha Dixon, 44, who she’s “on the same page for most things,” and Simon Cowell, 63, who she missed for his “evil self”.
