Angelia Jolie couldn’t contain her pride as she dropped Zahara off at Spelman college, ahead of her first year.
The Eternals actress recently announced that her eldest daughter would be starting university soon, uploading a sweet snap of the 17-year-old and her new pals on Instagram
Darryl Holloman, the Vice President for Student Affairs, shared a glimpse of the Hollywood icon, 47, on the Atlanta campus as she prepared to wave the teenager – who she shares with Brad Pitt – off.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, she could be seen chatting to school president Dr Helene Gayle when she was asked how it felt – presumably to drop her daughter to college.
‘I’m going to start crying,’ she said. ‘I have not started crying yet.’
Dr Helene joked that there would be ‘plenty of time’ for emotions as the ceremony was designed ‘purposely to induce tears’.

‘I’ve heard tomorrow night is the big night so I’m holding it together,’ Angelina replied.
When questioned on how she felt to be a ‘Spelman mom’, she added: ‘I’m so excited! So excited.’
Zahara is one of the six children that the Changeling star shares with former husband Brad.

The pair are also parents to Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Shiloh, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 14.
Pax graduated from school last summer and Maddox studied at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
Angelina proudly boasted of the teen’s achievements in a rare post at the end of last month, showing Zahara surrounded by her ‘Spelman sisters’.
‘Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year,’ she wrote beside the upload.
‘A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl. #spelman #spelmancollege #spelmansisters #HBCU.’
The mom-of-six has clearly jumped right into university life beside her daughter, with a video doing the rounds last week, showing her doing the Electric Slide in a hall.
She’s definitely not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom.
