Bachelorette's Ali Fedotowsky Reveals Jake Gyllenhaal MADE HER CRY On The Red Carpet: 'I'm Going To Taylor Swift You'

Ali Fedotowsky will never forget this horrible encounter with a celebrity!

During an appearance on the Women On Top podcast on Wednesday, the 38-year-old reality star opened up about her job as an E! News correspondent years ago. When asked by host Roxy Manning if Ali ever had a bad experience on the red carpet, she remembered all too well how things didn’t go as smoothly as she had hoped when she interviewed none other than Jake Gyllenhaal. In fact, she claimed the 42-year-old actor made her cry at the time! The former Bachelorette said on the episode:

“Sorry, Jake Gyllenhaal, I’m going to Taylor Swift you right now.”

LOLZ!!! Obviously, that is a reference to Taylor’s music calling out her ex-boyfriend. She went on to recall:

“Jake Gyllenhaal shows up for the red carpet — my first red carpet for E! News — I’m like ‘I’m gonna kill it. I’m gonna be so good.’ I practiced. I rehearsed my questions. I was so ready to go.”

Ali continued:

“He walks up, I’m shaking in my heels — which, I’m horrible in heels — and I say to him, ‘Hi, Jake who’d you bring tonight?’ Like, for a date, like, who’s your date tonight? He goes, ‘bye bye,’ and walked away from me.”

Damn! So rude, Jake! When the Brokeback Mountain star left, Ali shared she “started crying,” believing she would lose her job over the failed interview. But the television personality soon saw him moments later treat another reporter the exact same way. Ugh…

While Ali had been upset about their interaction (or lack thereof) at the time, she was mainly stunned by Jake’s attitude, noting that she’s done “countless” interviews and knows “how easy it is to be nice.” Exactly. There is no need to be unnecessarily impolite to someone doing their job to the point where you make them cry.

Despite her poor experience with Jake, Ali noted not everyone was awful toward her on the red carpet! She praised several celebs, calling Tom Hanks the “nicest guy ever” and Kris Jenner “the kindest, nicest human being,” who “is so smart.” She then added about the Kardashian family:

“All the Kardashians, Kim , they’re so kind. Reality stars, in general, are so nice.”

At least Ali had some good experiences working as a red carpet correspondent after the Gyllenhaal debacle! But ultimately, she found that being a red carpet correspondent was her “least favorite job ever had.” Oof. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments below.
