BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst, 42, has opened up about having to say “three goodbyes” to people she loved “very much” in a heartbreaking post on social media.
The pregnant BBC star revealed there were “lots of tears” as she had to endure the deaths of three loved ones over just a few months.
Nina, who is expecting her third child with husband Ed Fraser, took to Instagram yesterday to share the devastating update with her 21,500 followers.
She posted a photograph that showed her alongside her mother and sisters, with each of the daughters wearing long, brightly coloured patterned maxi dresses.
Nina captioned the photo: “With my Mum [and] sisters at a memorial celebration yesterday (‘no black please’).

“We’ve said three big goodbyes in the last few months to people we loved very much.
“And they loved us since we were kids – guided us, made us laugh, helped us feel safe,” she continued.
“It’s been bruising having a run of grief, but made me appreciative of the support you get from the special elders of your extended village – whatever that is and whoever they are.
“Thank you Jacko, Sue and Mazza. I hope we pay it forward to the next lot.
