Former Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas looked happy as he reunited with his dance partner Luba Mushtuk to celebrate her birthday alongside his family.
The Waterloo Road actor, 35, and professional dancer, 34, both looked in high spirits despite being booted off the BBC dance competition on Saturday, November 4, after losing in the dance-off to Angela Rippon.
But now the duo have reunited and enjoyed a lovely evening out with Adam's doting wife Caroline and kids Teddy and Elsie to celebrate Luba's birthday.
Fans rushed to the comment section to gush over the pair's reunion and also declare that they're "the best thing to come out of Strictly 2023."
Luba posted a photo of their sweet reunion with her Instagram followers. In the snap, she cuddled up to Adam's children while Adam and Caroline happily posed behind them.
Captioning the fab pic, Luba shared: "Reunited and it feels so good. Love, cuddles, laughter, food, balloons, cakes, presents and more love…had the best birthday!
"Thank you. Love you guys," followed by the hashtag 'family.'
Strictly fans flooded the comment section with sweet messages – with many calling their partnership 'the best thing' to come out of this year's series.
One user shared: "The best thing to come out of Strictly 23."
While another agreed, writing: "The best partnership to come out of Strictly this year."
A third added: "How lovely to gain this adopted family from Strictly!"
Another commented: "The best thing to come out of Strictly! I really hope you both go on the tour."
Adam also dedicated an Instagram post to Luba's birthday as he sent her a special message.
He posted a string of pics alongside the caption: "Too much love for this one!! I wish we were celebrating your birthday in Blackpool this week, and having your very first fish and chips haha but that will just have to wait!!
"I know we never quite got to Blackpool which was our plan, but honestly, I feel like I won meeting you!! The loveliest and kindest soul…you really are part of my family now and we are part of yours!! Happy birthday @lubamushtuk."
Adam and Luba's incredible relationship shone through as they battled against other couples in the Strictly dance competition.
But their journey to the Glitterball trophy came to an end at the beginning of November, when they were sent home in the dance-off.
Adam then opened up about the judges' decision to send him home on the spin-off series It Takes Two.
Speaking to host Fleur East about the dance-off, Adam said: "I knew going up against Angela we'd be in trouble. She's amazing, but if anyone was going to send us home I'm happy it was Angela, she's amazing. She is so elegant and I am really happy for her."
Some fans were not pleased with the decision, believing "the wrong person" had been sent home.
