Big Brother icon Tiffany Pollard says David Gests ghost haunts her after death mix-up

Tiffany Pollard has revealed that she believes the late David Gest "haunts her" following her famous mix up on Celebrity Big Brother when she thought the producer had passed away.

In a new interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Tiffany, 41, spoke about the iconic TV moment, which saw the American TV personality mistakenly presume David had passed away in the CBB house, after fellow housemate Angie Bowie, 74, informed her that 'David's dead'.

However, Angie was referring to her ex-husband David Bowie, who died while she was on the reality TV show. At the time of Tiffany's mix up, David was taking an ill-timed nap in the bedroom.

Opening up about the famous scenes, she said she thinks David visits her kitchen from beyond the grave and admitted she has not rewatched the CBB episode.

"David and I have not made up," Tiffany said. "And I did not rewatch that episode but he does haunt my kitchen. Every once in a while…"

Host Andy Cohen then replied: "You have not made up from that season?" to which Tiffany said: "Well since he died… I haven’t talked to him since then. Was I supposed to?"

She added: "David, please stop coming into the kitchen and messing with the knives and forks. He’s mad at me." Tiffany then clarified why she needs to make up with David, saying: "So he can stop turning on the coffee maker."

Tiffany appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 and proved to be one of the show's most iconic housemates, thanks to her "David's dead" mix up and her spats with her fellow housemates.

She famously clashed with TOWIE star Gemma Collins in the house and went on a foul-mouthed rant about her in the diary room.

A YouTube clip of the moment Tiffany mistakenly thought David was dead, shared on Big Brother's official channel, has been viewed over 147,000 times, with many fans branding it one of the "best" moments in the show's history.

After her time in the house, Tiffany launched ‘David Is Dead’ slogan T-shirts on her website to cash in on her famous moment, but had to remove the t-shirts after the producer died in April 2016 from a stroke.
