The ‘Zoom’ rapper criticizes President Joe Biden for sending $1 billion in military aid to Ukraine instead of spending $100 million to put snippers at schools.
AceShowbiz -Joe Biden’s latest decision to support Ukraine in the ongoing war against Russia doesn’t sit well with Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie). The rapper has blasted the president for sending $1 billion to Ukraine instead of spending $100 million to protect children by putting snippers at schools to prevent shootings.
Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., made the scathing comment via Twitter on Wednesday, June 15. “u send 1 billion to Ukrainian but you can’t spend a 100 mill for snipers to be put n our schools to protect our kids!! It’s a sad a** world we live n,” he wrote on the micro-blogging site, after it was announced that Biden would send an additional $1 billion in military aid to Ukraine.
However, many disagreed with Boosie, with one schooling the rapper, “Congress approves the billion not Biden… second school snipers would be handled by your local government, state by state..” Another mocked the Baton Rogue star, “Can y’all stop given platforms to people that don’t understand how this republic works please!”
Others didn’t think that placing snippers at schools is the right solution to prevent shootings. “Snipers ? I Mean , I Kinda See Where He Was Trying To Go With This ….. But Snipers Boosie,” one fan commented. Another wondered, “Who said we need snipers in schools?” while someone else said, “Well for 1 we don’t need snipers in school at all.”
President Biden and his top national security leaders said on Wednesday the U.S. is moving as fast as possible to get critical weapons to the fight, as Ukrainian forces are outnumbered and outgunned by their Russian invaders. The latest package includes anti-ship missile launchers, howitzers and more rounds for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) that U.S. forces are training Ukrainian troops on now.
On the other hand, America was recently left devastated by a mass shooting at Robb Elementary School. Nineteen students and two teachers were killed, while seventeen others were wounded during the massacre that was carried out by 18-year-old Salvador Ramos on May 24.
