Britney Spears' Ex-Husband Was Arrested After Breaking Into Her Home to Wedding Crash

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander has reportedly been arrested for three misdemeanors after crashing her wedding just hours before she married Sam Asghari on Thursday night (June 9). Us Weekly reports that Jason was arrested for “trespassing and refusing to leave property, battery and vandalism,” with a bail set at $22,500.

Jason—who Britney was married to for just 55 hours in 2004—filmed an Instagram Live while trying to get into her home (where the wedding took place), saying “Britney Spears invited me here. She’s my first wife. My only wife.” He added “I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding cause nobody [is] here but Sam. So where the fuck’s the family?”

Apparently, he could also be heard telling Britney’s security “don’t fuck with me” and claimed it was a “bullshit wedding.”

According to TMZ, Jason was somehow able to get past security and into Britney’s home. Her attorney Mathew Rosengart told the outlet he was “absolutely livid” about Jason’s attempt to crash the wedding, and said “I am personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Back in 2020, Jason told Us Weekly that he still had love for Britney and wanted her back, saying “Oh, yeah, definitely. If they would give us an honest chance, you know? And she really wanted that. I’d give it a shot. I’ve got love for her, definitely.”
