Last night Carol Vorderman, 62, took aim at the Conservative government once more as she continues to attack the party on Twitter.
Using the hashtag #ToriesDeletingTory, the former Countdown presenter slammed former Tory Chairman Nadhim Zahawi, 55, as his bio simply read: “Husband. Dad. Member of Parliament for Stratford-on-Avon.”
“Seems to have gone green and non-Tory on his Twitter profile,” she told her followers, before asking them to provide more examples of Tory members not advertising their party affiliations on their profiles.
“Send me more please?” she asked. “Tories now deleting any reference to Tory.”
At this point, Patrick Hanrahan, a user who says he is “boycotting MOTD as BBC is Tory Puppet”, flagged the account of Deputy Tory Chairman Lee Anderson.
Patrick included what appeared to be a screenshot of Lee’s bio, which read: “Member of Parliament for Ashfield. All views are my own and the vast majority of the country.”
“So Deputy Tory Chairman #30pLee not proud to say he’s a Tory then,” he told Carol with the hashtag #ToriesDeletingTory.
Carol then replied: “So it goes on. Lee Anderson, Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party who doesn’t tell us which party he is the ‘deputy chairman’ of?
“I suspect a rebranding and change from Tory blue this year,” she added with another #ToriesDeletingTory.
At this point, the Ashfield MP jumped in to defend himself, with a screenshot of what is currently available to view as his Twitter bio.

It read: “Ex-coal miner and now the proud Conservative Member of Parliament for Ashfield and Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party.”
“Think you need to check my bio again,” he told Carol. “Oh and whilst your at it act your age.”(sic)
“I’m howling laughing,” Carol hit back as she tagged Lee once more with laughing emojis.
“@LeeAndersonMP_ quickly changed his bio from NOT including Conservative to now, since my tweet earlier, adding a Tory reference,” she claimed.
“Then he tells me to ‘act your age’,” she penned with another laughing emoji. “Lee luv, get a grip. RT gang. It’s too funny not to #ToriesDeletingTory.”(sic)
In a follow-up tweet, she also corrected Lee’s spelling from “you’re” to “your”.
This morning, Carol continued to lay into Lee, as she penned: “Maths test for @LeeAndersonMP_.
“3 recent PMs, who don’t identify as Tory, want to update their bios CON-THE-VOTERS stickers in Tory blue cost 10p.
“If the 3 PMs want a sticker each, how much will that cost Tory HQ? Answer: It’s 30p Lee #ToriesDeletingTory.”(sic)
With the Tweet, she included screenshots of the Twitter bios of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Liz Truss and Theresa May, none of which appear to mention the Conservative party at this time.
