Carol Vorderman has shared a series of snaps alongside her children as they reunited to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
The happy trio could be seen enjoying every minute of the bank holiday pageantry for the Queen as they posed alongside union jack bunting and bottles of Bollinger Champagne.
Former Countdown star Carol, 61 tucked into scones and jam as part of the celebration, before sharing a number of rare photos revealing her children son Cameron, 25, and her daughter Kate, 31, smiling alongside her.
Captioning the photos, Carol wrote: "DAY TWO of our Platty Joobs. Loved it. Sunny…who needs a gazebo for our afternoon tea??
"Er….the rain came down….just listen to it on here….omg it bucketed down….so we couldn't move (ahem) for HOURS… Rain stopped…. nobody noticed
"I love my neighbours. They're ACE.”
Carol also shared a cheeky photo of herself armed with a croquet mallet as she indulged in some competitive fun to mark the special occasion. Sharing the image on social media, the brainy star wrote: “Platty Joobs croquet…. I think you'll find I was quite competitive….”
Finishing the caption in all caps, she then wrote: ”And I WON….NO MATTER WHAT THE OTHERS TELL YOU.”
MENSA member Carol isn’t the only brainbox in the family, with Carol’s kids also having inherited her intellectual prowess.
Daughter Kate obtained her PhD earlier this year in nanotechnology from Cambridge University, an achievement Carol was eager to celebrate on social media.
The star, who herself read engineering at Cambridge, shared her daughter’s success in a proud post to her 206K followers.
Sharing a photo of a coffee cup emblazoned with the words ‘Dr.Katie King’, Carol went on to explain that her daughter hoped to be part of the team that cures cancer, writing: “She is part of a big research team working at @cambridgeuniversity and with Astra Zeneca.
"So here's me as her Mum. So proud. I know all the struggles she's overcome, and the hard graft she's put in to become this fine young woman."
Carol shares Katie and 25-year-old son Cameron with her ex-husband Patrick King.
Her son too, has reason to celebrate, after he impressively achieved a Master's degree at Dundee university despite struggling with severe forms of ADD, dyslexia, and ADHD.
