Cassie Ventura’s federal lawsuit against her former boyfriend Sean Combs, also known as P Diddy or Puff Daddy, initially claimed he controlled and abused her for over a decade.
Now, the R&B star also claims that, when they went on a break during their relationship and Kid Cudi started wooing her, the Last Night singer allegedly took extreme actions against her pursuer.
The shocking lawsuit reached new heights with the latest claims as Cassie alleges the rapper had become so “enraged” at news she was potentially involved in a new romance, that he cautioned her during Paris Fashion Week in 2012 that he would “blow up” Kid Cudi’s car.
According to court documents seen by Page Six, around the same time as Diddy made this warning, the 39-year-old’s car had “exploded in his driveway”.
A spokesperson for Kid Cudi told The New York Times that the claims were “true” while Diddy’s representatives blasted the claims as “outrageous”.
The rapper’s attorney, Ben Brafman, told Daily Express: “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.
“For the past 6 months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.
“Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’ reputation and seeking a payday.”
In the lawsuit filed in Manhattan’s Federal District Court, R&B star Cassie also claims that just before their relationship ended in 2018, the rapper forced his way into her home and raped her.

It also alleged that Diddy gave her drugs, beat her and forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed.
Cassie’s lawsuit names the rapper and a number of his associated companies as defendants and she is seeking unspecified damages.
Her lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, said the former couple had spoken before the lawsuit was filed and the Coming Home hitmaker offered his client eight figures in exchange for her silence on the matter.
