Chloe Madeley and James Haskell have said they "mutually decided" to separate after five years of marriage.
The couple were plagued in recent weeks with rumours over the status of their relationship ever since the former rugby star was been spotted chatting with a mystery blonde outside London's posh Chiltern Firehouse on Thursday, 12 October.
But now in an emotional joint statement on Saturday night, the pair confirmed they've parted ways – just 13 months after the birth of their daughter, Bodhi.
Chloe, 36, explained to The Sun: “James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.
“We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.
“Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.
“Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”
The fitness guru, who is daughter of TV icons Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, and the former rugby player had been together since 2014. They then secretly split back in September – but have only now made it known to their fans.
And 38-year-old James, who is also a DJ, was quick to break his silence in an emotional post on Instagram quickly afterwards.
He added to their official statement: “It's with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done. My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won't be commenting any further.”
Chloe then shared his post on her social media as well.
Their shock split comes as Chloe's new ITV reality TV show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, airs on screens. During each episode, the star opens the door and gives viewers an insights into how she juggles work, first-time motherhood, and her famous family.
Before they announced their split, the pair have been spotted on numerous occasions without their wedding rings.
Most recently, James, 38, ditching his wedding ring, for a third time, while enjoying a boozy lunch in Paris with his pals, including close pal Mike Tindall, 44.
