Claiming that she has anticipated vile response when admitting that her miscarriage two years ago was actually life-saving abortion, the model shares screenshots of some negative comments she’s received.
AceShowbiz –Chrissy Teigen is exposing her haters. The model has revealed some “brutal” comments that she has received following her confession that she had a life-saving abortion two years ago, saying that it doesn’t make her “feel worse.”
Having anticipated the vile response, the currently pregnant star tweeted on Friday, September 16, “I knew this would happen, and honestly I’ve already seen you do your worst so if this makes feel better, great.” She added, “It doesn’t make me feel worse though.”
In another tweet, the cookbook author said the “brutal” comments were made under Glamour magazine’s Instagram post about her story. “This isn’t like, the daily mail or something btw. It’s the glamour magazine comment thread! Brutal,” she added.
Chrissy also included screenshots of some negative response that people made on social media about her abortion claims. “Pple lying about miscarriages and abortions now? Smh,” one of the comments read. Another accused her of “just trying to stay relevant. She should move on from this. We are tired.”
“She’s such a drama queen,” a third said, as another added, “Why do we need to know this? Seriously.” A fifth hater wrote, “Well we already gave you a Pity Party so what to do w/ this information?”
Another accused her of lying about the abortion claims to protest the Roe v. Wade overturn. “Liar then and liar now. All she does is lie,” the said critic argued, “Placenta abruption is treatable. When it’s already severe, doctors perform a C section and let nature runs its course. No need for murder aka abortion. … I am so tired of people like her promoting lies to keep the practice of murder legal. Women wake up and don’t fall for it.”
Someone, however, defended Chrissy as noting, “This comments section is so toxic. Wow.”
Chrissy admitted she actually had an abortion, not miscarriage with baby Jack two years ago when speaking at social impact agency Propper Daley’s “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit on Thursday. The 36-year-old said she only understood that she had an abortion with her third baby after more than a year later.
“Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion,” Chrissy candidly said. “An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago.”
Chrissy said she came to the realization after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade earlier this summer. “I fell silent, feeling weird that I hadn’t made sense of it that way,” she shared. “I told the world we had a miscarriage, the world agreed we had a miscarriage, all the headlines said it was a miscarriage. And I became really frustrated that I didn’t, in the first place, say what it was, and I felt silly that it had taken me over a year to actually understand that we had had an abortion.”
Chrissy is currently pregnant again after successfully undergoing IVF treatment.
