Christine McGuinness puts on smiling display at women’s Euro final after Paddy split

Christine McGuinness put on a smiling display as she attended the women's Euro final after her split from TV personality Paddy McGuinnness.

The model and mum of three, 34, looked sensational as she posted a snap of herself in a VIP box at the games in a white off-the-shoulder top and blue jeans as she wore her blonde hair loose around her shoulders and smiled for the camera.

Christine looked in high spirits as she enjoyed the game, posting a victorious video of herself and a brunette friend as they sang they football song: "It's coming home".

As she hugged her friend, she looked like she was doing her best to put her split from her husband of 13 years Paddy behind whilst watching the Lionesses storm to victory in the EURO 2022 finals against Germany.

Christine and Top Gear host Paddy announced their split via Instagram on July 22.

Revealing that they had been separated for some time, they also shared that they were still living in the same house for the sake of their their three children, who all have autism.

They stated they will continue to live in the same house together as their children remain their priority.

The statement read: "We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify.

"A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. This was not an easy decision to make but we're moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.

"We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life.

"Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We'll be making no further comment."

The couple signed off: "Loads of love. Paddy & Christine."

Despite calling time on their relationship, Paddy posted photos of them smiling together on a family holiday to Centre Parcs with their children, just four days before their split announcement on Instagram.

Paddy captioned the post: “Yes! We finally got away for our family holiday!

“It was a big tree house and the kids absolutely loved it!!! We had a full week of activities booked for them and discovered a few of our children’s hidden talents, namely scaling the indoor climbing walls.

"I’m so proud of how well they did but mainly by how much fun they had. We met another family there who also had a child with Autism. They’d been going there for years. We highly recommend Nottingham Centre Parcs, this isn’t an advert, we paid.”

“The staff were great with the kids and you can please yourself what you want to do. You can chill out and have a quiet one or dive into all the activities! We did a bit of both.”
