Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe appear to not want to make it up just yet after their blazing row while filming the Love Island reunion.
The pair both appeared in the 2022 series of the ITV2 dating show, and remained popular with fans despite neither reaching the finals.
In the end, it was Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu who walked away the winners, but the drama was far from over as Summer and Coco apparently got into a huge argument while filming the reunion show set to air on Sunday.
An insider who was present at the filming of the reunion claimed production had to ‘step in’ during a fiery row, which many are convinced is all to do with Josh Le Grove.
The fan wrote on social media: ‘Just been at the #LoveIsland reunion episode filming, very heated exchange between coco and summer production had to step in and close it down.’
This alleged argument took place during filming on Thursday, and on Saturday both girls headed off to the We Are FSTVL in London – though they appear to be taking great pains not to see each other.
Both Coco and Summer have been sharing updates with fans on Instagram, of them getting ready, travelling to and arriving at the festival – separately.
Summer looked stunning as she posed with fellow former Islander Chyna Mills in their hotel, tagging the festival in her stories; she later shared a clip of them arriving, writing: ‘Let the games begin.’
Coco, meanwhile, shared multiple clips of her with a group of friends – including ex-Islanders Nathalia Campos, Samira Mighty and Lacey Edwards on a bus, tagging each of them in her post.
Despite both being at the same festival, it doesn’t appear as though Coco and Summer are eager to meet up – but considering they’re both guaranteed to be in the same VIP area, anything could happen.
In photos from the VIP area, Coco was spotted hanging out and posing happily with other Islanders, with Summer nowhere to be seen.
She cuddled up to Nathalia in the sunshine, both dressed for the heat in short, body-hugging dresses.
Coco looked gorgeous in a floral pattern, cut-out at the sides to show off her figure.
Nathalia, meanwhile, looked classy in beige, the top of her dress patterned in a corset style.
And while Coco opted for comfortable trainers for the festival, Nathalia went all-out in knee-high white boots that had her towering over the bombshell.
Meanwhile, Summer was totally dressed to impress in a stunning all-black outfit and bucket hat.
She showcased her toned figure in a halter tube top, with a racy cut out near the bottom, as well as cut-out shorts and white trainers.
Wearing her long dark hair in tumbles past her shoulders, Summer posed easily for the camera, throwing her hand up in a peace sign.
While Coco hung out with Nathalia, Summer and Chyna appeared joined at the hip as they grinned for the camera, their arms around each other as they relaxed in the VIP area.
Chyna looked incredible in a baby pink short dress, cut out in the middle to accentuate her features.
The star paired the flashy outfit with stocky, shining Doc Marten-style boots, ready for the day of music ahead.
The girls were far from the only former Love Island stars there, with several of the boys making their grand entrances in the VIP section.
Bombshell Billy – who stirred up plenty of his own controversies while in the villa – attended in a unique matching short-and-shirt combi, brown and black in colour with what appeared to be a floral pattern.
Jay Younger, meanwhile, wore an open white shirt and black shorts, giving the camera a wide grin as he showed off his abs.
Also among the attendees was Love Island favourite Molly Mae Hague, the creative director of Pretty Little Thing, who posed easily before a sign of the company.
The star – who is in a committed relationship with Tommy Fury after they met on the show in 2019 – looked casually classy, if not a bit layered for the sunny day, as she wore a white coat and long white trousers with a beige corset-style top.
Molly wore her blonde hair off her face and down her shoulders, completing the look with some sunglasses and a mini brown Gucci bag.
The rumour mill has been swirling as to what Summer and Coco’s row on the set could have been about, with one insider saying production staff seemed baffled at the argument as the context was outside of what happened on the series.
They said: ‘Summer made a comment about friends not being real friends on the outside, and Coco was trying to defend herself by saying “It was all banter”, kept going back and forth over the boys (Josh & Billy) for a fair few minutes, production obvs had no idea of context from podcast ep.’
The fan went on to claim that Coco then ‘left’ after the exchange, with audience members having to ‘cheer her to come back.’
However, a show source has told Metro.co.uk that the argument is ‘unlikely to be shown’ on the pre-recorded show when it airs.
They added that this was because: ‘It didn’t relate to anything from their time in the Villa.’
It comes after Coco made some pretty revelatory comments about Josh while appearing on the Saving Grace podcast, in which she claimed the pair ‘could have slept together’ after being dumped from the Villa.
Ooo this could be something… #fyp #foryoupage #podcast #loveisland
The bombshell told host Grace Berry the pair were placed into a holding villa together, where sparks flew – despite the fact he’s currently pursuing a romance with Summer.
She said they didn’t have sex but she was ‘actually annoyed because I feel like I could have now. Talking to him now after I’m like I feel like it could have happened.
‘He was like “Oh I’m horny” and I was like right I’m gonna take myself to bed. But I don’t know why I did that because sorry he’s so fit’.
She went on: ‘But we are really close now, like we spend like every day, like all day together and I’m like just let me try once. I even say to him, “Just let me try once please Josh!”‘
Love Island: The Reunion airs on Sunday at 9pm.
