Coronation Street's Jane Danson has shared a loved-up snap of her with her husband as he returns to soap land in Emmerdale next week. The 44 year old shared a sweet birthday post to her husband, Robert Beck, on the day it was confirmed he is heading to Emmerdale.
Jane shared a beautiful summer snap of her and her husband for the special occasion. The actress who plays Leanne Battersby in Corrie captioned the post with: "Happy birthday, my love @robertbeck529.
"And congratulations on your @emmerdale return – I owe Emmerdale a lot -24 years of us – I love you, darling."
Jane's co-stars were quick to send their well wishes to Robert, 53, including her on-screen sister Georgia Taylor who plays Toyah Battersby. Georgia said: "Oh, what a gorgeous pic of you both, sis! And happiest of birthdays to @robertbeck529 xxx."
Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor, added: "Ah, happy birthday @robertbeck529, have a fab day!" Beth Tinker actress Lisa George was also in the comment section as she said: "Happy birthday Rob- gorgeous photo @realjanedanson xx."
Completing the Corrie comments is Sally Dynevor, who plays the iconic Sally Metcalfe. She said: "Happy Birthday Rob. Have a wonderful day xxx."
When he returns next week, Rob will be playing the strong-minded client Harry. He will be one of Nate Robinson's clients in his new adventure.
The Dingle family are about to find themselves in a sticky situation as Nate becomes out of his depth with dodgy deals.
Rob's face will be familiar to Emmerdale fans as it is not his first time on the show. Over 20 years ago, the actor appeared in the village as Gavin Ferris.
In 1999 Gavin was featured in 78 episodes as a love interest of Bernice Blackstock's. Ahead of his return Robert has opened up about his return admitting that Emmerdale is a show he has followed for "years."
The actor said: "I am thrilled to be working on Emmerdale again, it’s a great show that I have followed for years, with a fabulous cast. It has always had a special place in my heart.
"I had a fantastic time working on the show playing Gavin Ferris 24 years ago. The cast and crew were so welcoming, and of course, I met my wife because of that job, so I have much to thank Emmerdale for! I’m looking forward to getting involved and to working with such a great bunch again."
