Country singer Luke Bell has died at the age of 32.
The Where Ya Been singer reportedly went missing in Tucson, Arizona, on August 20.
According to reports, his body was found more than a week later, on August 29, near the area he was thought to have disappeared from.
The news was confirmed by close friend fellow musician Matt Kinman, to Saving Country Music.
Officials at the Tucson Police Department have since revealed that his date of death has been listed as August 26.
An investigation into what happened remains active, according to the Sun.
Bell’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed by the coroner’s office.
The Kentucky-born musician made his way to Wyoming as a youngster, where he briefly studied at the University of Wyoming.
He eventually dropped out in a bid to pursue a career in country music in Austin, Texas.
It was in there that he would put on performances at the Hole in the Wall bar with the band that he formed, Fast Luke and the Lead Heavy.
Bell then headed to Nashville where he recorded his EP, Don’t Mind If I Do in 2014 – but it wasn’t until two years later that he was signed to Thirty Tigers that his star began to rise.
He dropped his titled album shortly after and grew a large fan base thanks to his unique voice and charm.
‘To be honest, I live in the day, and I count smiles,’ he said of his success.
‘That’s it. Listen, half the time, I end up drinking beer with my neighbors. Life’s not that bad.’
Following this, he kept a low profile and had not posted on social media since 2017.
However, despite not updating his page in five years, fans rushed to pay tribute under his latest post after news of his death emerged.
‘Gone way too soon, hope you have found peace,’ an Instagram user penned.
‘So so sad, his light burnt so bright but too fast,’ one wrote.
A follower shared: ‘Heartbroken isn’t even the word. RIP angel.’
‘RIP Luke. Thanks for the great tunes,’ another agreed. ‘I wish I could’ve seen you play live. You will be ultimately missed.’
