Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes' Channel 5 show has been cancelled.
The couple, both 63, who have been together since 2006 but married since 2010, fronted a show, called Eamonn And Ruth: How The Other Half Lives.
But Eamonn made the announcement that the show has been cancelled, after five series and a Christmas special.
Speaking to The Sun, Eamonn said: “Sadly, the series fell victim to the pandemic – it was just impossible to get across the world to meet very rich people – and there are no plans to revive the series now.
“But I do feel privileged to have been a part of it and to have met people in parts of the world that are no longer accessible.
“We got to spend time with some extraordinary people, including a billionaire and his wife in Ukraine and some of the richest people in Moscow.”
The married couple, who formerly presented This Morning, certainly got to live the high life during their time fronting the show.
This included Eamonn flying in a Russian billionaire's private jet, and the couple using a £100,000 hand-engraved shotgun to shoot clay pigeons.
When they first launched the show in 2016, Ruth said: “We always thought we were doing alright then you see this wealth beyond your wildest dreams.
“I set out to do this show thinking I wouldn't like the people very much, thinking they’re going to be arrogant, and they really weren’t. A lot of them are self-made people.
Eamonn added: “The fascination is how they made their money, how they spend it, and why when they get the money they don't just stop working.“
OK! has contacted Channel 5 for comment.
Ruth and Eamonn have been married since 2006, but they only tied the knot in 2010.
They share a old son, named Jack, who recently celebrated his milestone 21st birthday.
During her slot hosting Loose Women on Wednesday, 9 August, Ruth made a sweet, if not hilarious admission, that she 'stalked' Eamonn before meeting, and later marrying, him.
Ruth made the admission as she led the Loose Women panel on Wednesday, 9 August, as the panelists, including Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and guest host Joanna Page chatted.
Eamonn, who Ruth described as the "love of my life", has apparently long been the object of her desires, as she revealed that she used to get distracted by her future partner when he presented the BBC show, Open Air.
She even said that she and her colleagues used to call it the 'dirty feed' when a feed from BBC used to be shown in the gallery that Ruth used to work in – well before she made her TV debut.
