EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Lady Victoria Hervey rages over Nike ‘mockery’ of women after Dylan Mulvaney advert
Born a Lady, thanks to her father being the 6th Marquess of Bristol, Victoria Hervey has no doubt what makes a woman.
And the socialite has waded into the row over Nike’s hiring of transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to promote its female sports clothing range.
Mulvaney, 26, a TikTok star and actress, identifies as a woman and uses the pronouns ‘she/they’ but has not had gender reassignment surgery.
‘They are trying to erase real women,’ Lady Victoria declares of Nike. ‘It’s a complete mockery of women which has gone way too far.’
Mulvaney posed for a series of pictures and videos online promoting Nike’s sports bras and leggings. Lady Victoria adds. ‘I’m open to people being what they want to be — just don’t inflict it upon others.’

She’s the niece of Princess Diana and a cousin of Princes William and Harry, but Lady Amelia Spencer is overshadowed by her new husband, Greg Mallett, in their ‘magical’ honeymoon snaps.
While Earl Spencer’s daughter, 30, is slim and lightly sun- kissed, fitness instructor Mallett, 33, is muscle-bound, with a mahogany tan. The couple are staying at a luxurious resort in the Maldives, following their wedding last month in South Africa, where Amelia grew up.
Her father, who divorced her mother, Victoria Lockwood, acrimoniously in 1997, was not invited to the wedding. Earl Spencer, who has married twice more since then, was also absent from the wedding of Amelia’s sister Lady Kitty in Italy in 2021.

‘My night with Bowie and four naked girls’
Comedian Jack Whitehall might live a Hollywood lifestyle these days, but he was never lured to a Berlin sex club by David Bowie like his father.
‘I used to represent an actor, David Hemmings,’ explains retired theatrical agent Michael Whitehall. ‘He asked me if I would like to visit the set of a film he was directing in Berlin, Just A Gigolo. David Bowie was playing a major role. We all went for dinner and Bowie looked at me and said: ‘Why don’t we go to a club?’
When they arrived, they were asked: ‘Would you like any ladies to join you?’ Whitehall recalls: ‘Most of the people with us said: ‘Yes, why not?’ Bowie said: ‘Absolutely’. And they sent four girls who were very busty German ladies with no clothes on. They sat at the table with us. We talked a little bit.
‘I looked around to say something to Bowie and he had gone upstairs.’
He adds: ‘It was the most expensive sex I never got. The bill came to several thousands of pounds. It said, ‘Four girls’, and in brackets it said, ‘Nude’.’

Rachel scoffs 16 burgers in one go
You wouldn’t think it to look at her, but slimline Rachel Weisz spent most of her time on the set of forthcoming TV drama Dead Ringers stuffing herself. ‘I just ate a lot,’ says the Oscar winner, 53, who plays twin gynaecologists Elliot and Beverly Mantle in the Amazon Prime series. ‘I quite like to eat.’
Speaking at a screening at BFI Southbank in London, Weisz says one particular scene in a Manhattan restaurant was her favourite because she was able to consume copious amounts of fast food.
‘The burger scene in the diner, I ended up eating 16 and I didn’t feel very brilliant after, but then when do you get the chance to eat 16 burgers?’ adds the actress, who’s married to James Bond star Daniel Craig.

Forget his skills with an oven — Paul Hollywood has the power to hypnotise with his startling blue eyes, according to The Repair Shop star Jay Blades, who appears in The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer. ‘The camera doesn’t do justice to Paul Hollywood’s eyes,’ gushes the furniture restorer, 53.
‘I was hypnotised by them. I thought, ‘Are they for real?’ I’ve never seen a blue like his eyes. They are unbelievable. They’re probably the eighth wonder of the world.’
Father Ted and Death In Paradise star Ardal O’Hanlon insists he is romantic, but much prefers to show it in unexpected ways. ‘I don’t like the traditional grand gesture, but then I double down when she’s least expecting it,’ the comedian, 57, says of his wife, Melanie. They met when they were teenagers.
‘People kind of have the wrong idea about romance. Once her engagement ring fell into the toilet, a very blocked toilet.
‘Without hesitation, I fished it out for her. That’s romance, isn’t it?’
He adds: ‘Mind you, she wouldn’t come near me for weeks.’
