Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed she’s thinking of returning to her acting career in Turkey.
The reality star, 28, shot to fame last year after winning Love Island with Davide Sanclimenti, also 28, with the couple still going strong after meeting on the show.
However, the star hasn’t ruled out a return to her previous line of work, where she was an actress in a Turkish soap opera.
Ekin-Su starred as London-based photographer Isil in a show called Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk – meaning North Star First Love – for its second series in 2020.
Although the show has since been cancelled, she said she wouldn’t rule out another acting project in Turkey.
Speaking about a potential return to acting, Ekin-Su said: "I would actually love to go back to Turkey at some point and reconnect with some old agencies out there, who I was in a soap with.”
Speaking to the Sun, she added: “I speak both English and Turkish so why can't I have a career in both countries?
"It is a hard industry and I think people always tell you, 'You can't do this, you can't do that,' but you have to keep pushing yourself really. Even when people say no, you have to keep going.”
Following her Love Island win, Ekin-Su appeared on Dancing On Ice and also appeared in a travel series with her beau Davide.
The couple had their fair share of dramatic moments during their time on Love Island but ultimately emerged as winners of the show.
However, Davide recently admitted that the intense pressure of having a relationship in the public eye sometimes affects himself and Ekin-Su.
In an exclusive chat with OK!, Davide said: "I would be lying if I said that it's never been an issue – because we are human, and we get affected.
He continued: "But then you need to understand that there will be millions of people that like you, and then five or six who want to say something bad. So you have to learn to not take it too personally, and make sure you have a strong mindset."
He also revealed that the couple are considering a move back to Manchester, which was where Davide lived before appearing on Love Island.
Since winning the show in 2022, the couple have been living in Essex together and recently gave fans a glimpse of their spacious apartment.
