Ferne McCann shares glimpse of ‘lovely’ first ever baby shower after not having one with daughter

Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann has given her followers a glimpse into her “special” day as her friends threw her a beautiful baby shower at a rooftop restaurant in London.

Ferne, 32, is already a mum to her daughter Sunday and is expecting her second child with her fiancé Lorri Haines this summer. The mum of two to be shared a sweet glimpse into some baby shower games that the group played, as well as some delicious looking food.

The reality star also showed off her stylish attire for the occasion. Ferne looked glowing as she proudly displayed her blossoming baby bump in a fitted orange dress with an on-trend slit in the side. She paired the look with a bright pink bag and green strappy shoes.


The star captioned the stunning snaps on Instagram: “A day full of love celebrating baby no.2.” She continued: “Feeling incredibly blessed & grateful for my baby shower lunch thrown by my gorgeous friends. I’ve never wanted a full-blown baby shower so this was absolutely perfect. Here we go to doing it all over again.”

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the glowing mum also revealed that she didn’t have a baby shower when she was pregnant with her first child as she said: “There were games & I loved it because I never had a baby shower when I was pregnant with Sunday…”

Fans rushed to the comments to send their congratulations and share their excitement for Fernes journey. One fan wrote: “You look gorgeous and the bump shape is suggesting a girl to me”, while another said: “Lovely pictures, Ferne you are looking blooming lovely.”

A third wrote: “Love the dress Ferne. Good Luck with baby no 2. Sunday will make the best big sister”, while a fourth said: “You are glowing Ferne look really really well, been Pregnant suits you x”.

The reality star's baby shower followed shortly after she exclusively revealed to OK! that she hopes to give birth on television – more specifically, her own ITV2 series First Time Mum, which is about to enter its 11th outing.

"I really want my birth on the show. I want to have that moment," she said. Speaking about her birth, the TOWIE star added: “I just have such a vision of the type of birth that I want, and I think that would be so empowering to share that on this series."
