Vicky Pattison has shared how her close friend Ferne McCann struggled to find a man who got on with her daughter Sunday – until her new fiancé Lorri Haines came along.
And speaking exclusively to OK! at her star-studded engagement party to fiancé Ercan Ramandan, Vicky told us that she couldn’t be happier for her I’m A Celebrity co-star and Lorri on their recent engagement news.
The 34 year old shared: “From the moment we met Lorri we said, ‘They’re going to get married!’ You could just tell they’ve got such lovely energy. He’s fitted into her life perfectly.”
Former I’m A Celeb winner Vicky went on to explain that Lorri, who is dad to a young son, understands how important the four year old is to Ferne.
She continued: “I know Ferne’s struggled in the past to find someone who gets on with Sunday [her daughter] and understands how important she is to her. He gets it and he’s wonderful with her. I feel like they might actually get down the aisle before us!”
Ferne and Lorri announced their engagement earlier this month after the estate agent popped the question during a romantic weekend in Paris.
The former TOWIE star announced her exciting news on Instagram by sharing a snap of her flashing her stunning diamond engagement ring to the camera.
"So happily ever afters do exist,” wrote the 31 year old, before adding: "I cannot wait to do forever with you baby @lozzahaines”.
Vicky was one of the first to congratulate the couple, writing: “Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!! I am losing my mind over this, congratulations you two!!!!! I'm just so happy for you".
Ferne and Vicky have been close pals ever since they starred opposite each other on the 2015 series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! While Ferne finished third in the ITV series, Vicky went on to win the show after beating off stiff competition from former Union J singer George Shelley.
Former Geordie Shore star Vicky is set to tie the knot with her fiancé Ercan, who popped the question in Dubai earlier this year, in 2024.
The pair recently celebrated their happy news with a star-studded engagement party at the lavish 14 Hills Restaurant in London.

And sharing their plans for their nuptials in the coming years, Vicky told us: “We really want to get married abroad and we want to explore some different places.
"I want to travel to Palma and see a wedding venue there and Ercan’s still campaigning for Cyprus! I think next year is going to be one giant wedding recce!”
