A funeral service for Matthew Perry took place on Friday in Los Angeles, with the late actor's friends and family gathering to lay him to rest.
The Friends star, famed for portraying Chandler Bing in the hit US sitcom, tragically passed away on 28 October at his home in LA at the age of 54.
His five Friends co-stars – Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Le Blanc, Courteney Cox and David Schwimmer – were all in attendance, along with his parents, Suzanne Perry and John Bennett Perry. Matthew's stepfather Keith Morrison was also among the 20 mourners at the service, as reported by TMZ.
Lisa, Jennifer, Courteney and David were seen arriving at Forest Lawn Cemetery together on Friday, while their co-star Matt joined them outside after the ceremony.
Actress Jennifer, 54, who played Rachel Greene in Friends, was one of the first mourners to arrive, according to reports. An onlooker told DailyMail.com: "Ms Aniston was one of the first to arrive. She kept herself to herself. This is a high profile gathering."
Forest Lawn Cemetery is located opposite Warner Bros Studios – where all 10 seasons of Friends were filmed – and is the resting place of several Hollywood stars, including Carrie Fisher, Bette Davis, Michael Hutchence and Stan Laurel.
The private funeral service finished with a rendition of Don't Give Up by Peter Gabriel, with an onlooker claiming there "was not a dry eye" in the venue.
"There were a lot of tears and laughter. Only close friends and family spoke," the onlooker told DailyMail.com.
Following the service, a burial took place with only family present.
News of Matthew's passing broke on Saturday 28 October after the actor was found dead in his hot tub at his home in Los Angeles. Emergency services rushed to his home after receiving a call at 4.07pm that the star had suffered a cardiac arrest. But when they arrived, they reportedly found the star lifeless in his jacuzzi.
According to TMZ, the actor had returned home following a game of pickleball and sent his assistant out on an errand. But when the aide returned home just two hours later, he found Matthew unresponsive and immediately called for help.
Dozens of celebrities have paid tribute to the late star, including his Friends co-stars, who released a joint statement sharing their devastation.
The five co-stars statement read: "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.
"In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
