George and Charlotte excitedly arrive at Coronation concert – but Louis is missing

Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their surprise debut at Sunday night’s Coronation concert – earlier than planned, as they were so eager to see the musical acts scheduled to perform.

With a spring in their step and big smiles on their faces, the adorable youngsters arrived alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla, who were also accompanied by Prince William and Kate Middleton.

One notable absence however, was Prince Louis, who was sadly missing from the show, as it was “past his bedtime.”

The five year old youngster had already struggled in recent days with the excitement and long hours associated with the Coronation, and even left the ceremony at Westminster Abbey mid-way through on Saturday as it was too much for the little one to handle.

Yet rather than being a last minute decision, Louis' departure had been pre-arranged in advance, with his nanny on hand to help take him home so he could rest and decompress until his balcony appearance later in the day.

A similar practice was likely also adopted for Sunday's concert, with commentators revealing on the BBC that the late start time to the show, 8pm, was already "well past the young royal's bedtime."

Fans at home weren’t pleased by his absence either, with many taking to social media to share their disappointment at not seeing the lively youngster at the concert.

“Got the #MiamiGrandPrix on one screen and the #CoronationConcert on another, and with LL Cool J introducing the F1 and Prince Louis missing from Windsor, I’m not sure which I’m disappointed by more,” penned one fan.

Another agreed adding: “I know it’s by his bedtime but I’m fuming Prince Louis isn’t at the concert I love him and his behaviour lol.”

Before a third echoed similar sentiments as they wrote: “Prince Louis would have driven the entertainment value of this show up by 500%, but they left him at home.”

As a fourth added: It’s such a shame that Prince Louis wasn’t able to come to the concert."

The absence of Louis from the proceedings came as a huge blow to many fans, who in recent months have been delighted by the youngster's often chaotic presence at royal occasions.

One memorable instance in particular, was his presence at last year's Diamond Jubilee Pageant, when he was caught on camera cheekily blowing raspberries at his mother during the proceedings.

He was even spotted adorably yawning at yesterday's Coronation, in scenes which fans couldn't help but sympathise with.t
