Georgina Rodriguez attended Venice Film Festival, stunning on the red carpet as she revealed a heartfelt tattoo in memory of her late baby son.
The star and her footballer boyfriend, Cristiano Ronaldo, were expecting twins together but in April announced that their baby son had died in childbirth. Their daughter Bella Esmerelda survived.
Georgina, 28, recently shared a photo of herself getting a tattoo in memory of the baby boy, a beautiful design of a winged cherub, which can be seen as she attended the film festival.
Donning a gorgeous black dress, with a thigh slit and pairing the look with a stunning statement necklace, Georgina posed on the red carpet at the premiere of the film Tar.
She wore her hair up, and the new tattoo could be seen on the inside of her arm.
It comes after Georgina made a visit to the holy site of Fatima in Portugal six months after the devastating loss.
Georgina joined pilgrims and other religious worshippers with her weekend visit to the spot where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to three children more than 100 years ago.
Georgina and Cristiano announced the heartbreaking news in April, writing on Instagram: ‘It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.
‘It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel.’
They continued: ‘Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
‘We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time.’
‘Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.’
