Rumours are circulating that Afton, Gillian McKeith ’s daughter, is in discussions to join the cast ofLove Island.
The 23-year-old, who currently works as a movement coach for US beauty pageants, may soon be heading to Majorca to shake things up as the newest bombshell on the latest season.
Reports fromThe Sunsuggest that show producers are keen for Afton to share insights about her previous relationship with Brooklyn Beckham, who is now married to actress Nicola Peltz. Celebrity nutritionist Gillian, who recently appeared on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, is said to be in talks with ITV bosses about getting her daughter on the show.
A source said: “She's told bosses how great her daughter would be and there have been discussions for her to join the show at some point.
“The Islanders won't know what's hit them when Afton rocks up. She isn't afraid to play up for the cameras, strip down to risqué outfits and get stuck into the challenges.
“She's even prepared to tell all on her romance with Brooklyn Beckham, as well as the entire family.”
Afton recently posted on her TikTok channel that her ex Brooklyn – the son of ex-England footballer David Beckham and former Spice Girl Victoria – had blocked her on Instagram. Showing followers that she could no longer access his Instagram page, Afton was quick to laugh off Brooklyn's move to show she's truly over her teenage heartbreak which apparently “didn't end on the best of terms”.
During their younger years, the school pals are said to have had a brief romantic fling. They both attended the same private school with other famous faces, including Guy Ritchie and Madonna's son Rocco Ritchie.
However, Brooklyn quickly broke the relationship off. Shortly after the split Afton put on a brave face and said: "I’m better off without him. I’m fine."
She then went on to reveal she got to meet Posh and Becks too: "They are very nice. Victoria is very protective over him."
Afton's mother, best known for Channel 4's You Are What You Eat, said she was glad when the paid went their separate ways through, and said at the time: "No, she doesn’t [miss him]. I’m actually glad he’s gone. No boyfriends now until she is 25."
Brooklyn is now loved-up with wife Nicole Peltz Beckham. Nicola – who is the daughter of model Claudia and American billionaire businessman and investor Nelson Peltz – and Brooklyn married in April last year.
Brooklyn recently unveiled the latest in a number of inkings in tribute to his wife. During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Brooklyn, 24, removed his jumper to show Jennifer, 41, his newest tattoo – one of his wife's face on his arm. He also revealed that under the image of Nicola, 28, he has the lyrics to the song that she walked down the aisle to at their wedding.
Asked by Jennifer how many tattoos he has now, Brooklyn replied that it's somewhere between "80 to 100" but he wasn't completely sure on the exact number.
