Alternative rock bands Gin Blossoms and Sugar Ray will embark on a co-headlining tour this summer.
The brief 12-date tour, featuring special guests Tonic and Fastball, will begin at Copeland Park in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on August 31.
“I can’t think of anything better than spending the summer with great friends playing music! This tour is a giant cavalcade of hits that just keeps delivering, and I’m always honored to share a stage with Gin Blossoms, Tonic and Fastball,” Sugar Ray lead singer Mark McGrath said in a statement.
Sugar Ray’s guitarist and co-founder Rodney Sheppard said he is looking forward to this tour because all these bands have a history and a friendship.
Gin Blossoms lead singer Robin Wilson said he is very much excited to tour with Sugar Ray, Tonic and Fastball.
“They’re some of my favorite bands to be on the road with. We’re looking forward to doing some rock’n’roll shows,” he added.
Additional dates to the tour will be announced later.
Ticket for most dates are on sale now, while Frederick’s on-sale is scheduled for June 30.
