He revealed they “won’t be making any more episodes” in a new interview ahead of his appearance on Celebrity Race Across The World as broke the news on Sunday.
“We had a brilliant time exploring and celebrating places such as Blackpool, The Eden Project in Cornwall and Edinburgh but we won’t be making any more episodes,” he told The Sun.

Meanwhile, Alex will be taking on a new challenge as the forecaster teams up with his dad Noel for BBC’s Celebrity Race Across The World, as they attempt to make the trip from Morocco to Norway, taking in 24 countries en route.
The ITV presenter admitted his wife Imogen McKay was “upset” to be left out of taking part as Alex opted to travel with his dad instead.
The show sees stars leave their mobile phones and credit cards behind to travel thousands of miles in a bid to win £20,000.
Explaining his reasoning behind the decision, Alex told Radio Times: “You don’t get to spend this sort of time with your parents as an adult.
“Imogen was upset, as she loves travelling and she’s a fan of the show.
“But, as much as I love her and spending time with her, I’m not sure this was the honeymoon she’d want!
“With hindsight, I think I made the right decision,” he added.
Celebrity Race Across the World will see four pairs of celebrities take a journey across 24 countries from Morocco to Norway.
