According to a new report, friends of Sergey Brin spilled the beans on Nicole Shanahan’s supposed tryst with Elon in an effort to get her stuck to the pre-nuptial agreement.
AceShowbiz -Nicole Shanahan may get less than she seeks from her divorce. Rumor has it that Sergey Brin’s estranged wife demands $1 billion in their split, but that was before her alleged affair with Elon Musk was exposed.
“You can expect the divorce to become nasty,” a source told Radar about Sergey and Nicole’s split. “The revelation of the affair with Elon Musk is the first shot.” According to the source, “people connected to Sergey released the juicy tidbit about his wife’s ‘affair’ with Elon in an effort to get Nicole to honor the pre-nuptial agreement.”
The existing prenuptial agreement provides Nicole with a 9-figure fortune after 3 years of marriage and one child with Sergey but she wants more. Sergey is the sixth richest man in the world with an estimated net worth of $94 billion.
Sergey filed the divorce papers in January, citing “irreconcilable differences.” His filing read, “All issues as to the property rights or obligations of the parties will be determined by confidential binding arbitration in accordance with a written agreement between the parties.”
He asked the court to award him joint custody of their 2-year-old daughter. He also wanted his estranged wife to be cut off from any spousal support.
Meanwhile, Elon, who is currently the wealthiest person in the world with an estimated net worth of $242 billion, has denied the allegations of having secret affair with Nicole back in December. He tweeted on Sunday, July 24, “This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night! I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic. Haven’t even had sex in ages (sigh).”
The tech magnate went on slamming the Wall Street Journal which first reported the “brief affair.” In a follow-up tweet, the 51-year-old added, “WSJ has run so many bs hit pieces on me and Tesla I’ve lost count! It’s embarrassing for them, frankly.” He went on saying, “They once wrote an article saying FBI was about to arrest me, so I called FBI to ask what’s up and they said WSJ article was total bs. Just more shortseller fud.”
