The band also shared a new song from the record, “New Gold,” featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown.
The album features several guests including Thundercat on the title track, as well as Bad Bunny, Stevie Nicks, Beck, and Adeleye Omotayo. The album was recorded in London and Los Angeles earlier this year and is produced by Greg Kurstin, Remi Kabaka Jr., and Gorillaz.
The 10-track Cracker Island is Gorillaz’ eighth studio album and follows 2020’s Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez. It will be available in a variety of formats, including deluxe vinyl and limited edition collectors boxes.
