Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about the potential of her playing Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman in a live action film.
The 26-year-old actress and singer has of course now played her in two animated Spider-Man movies, most recently in the new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and she’ll return once again for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
In a new interview, Hailee dished on whether she would sign up to play Gwen in a live action movie, and what scene she would really want to bring to life.

While speaking to THR, Hailee was asked if playing Gwen in live action would be the easiest yes of her career, she simply replied with, “Yes!” and a laugh.
Hailee also apparently wasn’t aware that there’s a solo Spider-Woman film in the works at Sony, or at least that she knows of.
“This is one [report] I haven’t heard of,” she said.
If she were to do a live action Spider-Woman movie, Hailee revealed what scene from the latest film she’d really want to act out on screen.
“I would love to do the scene between Gwen and her father where she reveals her secret identity,” she gushed. “That was the first that came to mind, and then, honestly, any scene in this film where Gwen is doing something that would require me to do some wild, wild stunt that I wouldn’t consider doing anywhere else.”
If you missed it, there are reportedly four more Spider-Man universe movies in the works, both animated and live action!
