This Morning host Holly Willoughby has let fans in on what keeps her marriage to Dan Baldwin's marriage happy and healthy, after an incredible 16 years together.
The presenter, 42, married television producer Dan back in August 2007 at the beautiful Amberley Castle in Sussex, and the duo have since welcomed three gorgeous children together.
Now, giving an insight into what makes the perfect marriage – while looking back nostalgically on their wedding day nearly 16 years later – Holly reveals the key to happiness is making sure they always "carve out real time" for each other.
In her lifestyle brand Wylde Moon's weekly newsletter, Holly told her fans: "August happens to be the month I got married, so it's always a nostalgic time for Dan and I.
"It will be 16 years this year, which feels crazy in so many ways. I often think about us and the glue that binds us together. Every relationship is so unique and different; what works for one couple may not for another."
She continued: "It's a bit like developing your own personal recipe that you adapt together and personalise along the way.
'I love nothing better than finding out what my friends/parents believe the secret to their relationship success is – and would love to hear your wisdom too!"
'Mine would have to be remembering to carve out real time for each other within the madness of everyday life," Holly concluded. "Everything from making time to talk over dinner at home to date nights. Whatever you do to keep the spark alive, keep it up!"
Last month, ITV viewers were left shocked when they discovered the embattled presenter had already secretly left the This Morning for her usual summer break, without saying her usual goodbye.
Following Phillip Schofield’s dramatic departure from the show two months ago, she has been subjected to a furious public backlash and constant rumours about her quitting the show.
A source told OK! at the time that now, more than ever, Holly needs this time to step back and reassess her priorities, and that she is putting her family first and will be using this break to decide her next move and her future on the show.
The source said: "She appreciates her family more than ever right now and she’s planning to take the summer to be a full-time mum.
"The last couple of months have been really stressful and it’s highlighted for her the importance of family.
"She and Dan are closer than ever – he provided her with so much support following Phillip’s departure, and she was able to be there for him after his mother died. It sounds strange, but the devastating year they’ve had has brought their family together.
"She will be thinking about the future and making sure her family is her priority."
