How Adam Demos and Sarah Shahi Went From Costars to Lovers
Adam Demos and Sarah Shahi will soon be taking their fiery romance back to the small screen when “Sex/Life” returns to Netflix for season two in March. In the series, Shahi plays a suburban mom named Billie who finds herself in a tumultuous love triangle between her husband, Cooper (Mike Vogel), and ex-boyfriend Brad (Demos). However, offscreen, Demos and Shahi’s romance seems less complicated.
The real-life couple actually first met on the set of “Sex/Life” back in 2020. At the time, Shahi was married to “Shameless” star Steve Howey. Shahi filed for divorce from Howey in May 2020 after 11 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences,” per People. They share three kids together, William, 13, and twins Violet and Knox, 7.
It’s unclear exactly when Demos and Shahi first started dating, but they officially confirmed their relationship in December 2020. Since then, the pair have given us peeks at their romance on social media, posting birthday tributes for one another and documenting their adventures together.
