Comedian Jack Whitehall and his girlfriend Roxy Horner have revealed their baby daughter’s name two weeks after they became first time parents.
Jack and his girlfriend Roxy welcomed their daughter at St Mary's Hospital in London two weeks ago, and a spokesperson for the couple has now confirmed that their new bundle of joy is called Elsie.
The source told MailOnline that the sweet name means "pledge to God" and that Jack and Roxy "took their time" thinking of it.
Another source told The Sun: "Elsie is a gorgeous baby and Jack and Roxy have picked a gorgeous name to fit. Everyone is thrilled".
The new parents have been keeping their fans and followers updated online of their brand new journey into parenthood, and Jack has unsurprisingly been making a few jokes along the way.
The new dad shared a glimpse of dad-life as he changed a nappy while multitasking and watching a football match on his phone. He wrote alongside it: "This was me watching the injury time of the Arsenal game whilst changing my first ever nappy!"
Jack also joked about the newborn's moniker, as he wrote: "Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it", in a tribute to footballer Declan Rice.
Roxy has also shared candid photos of her happily snuggling her newborn in bed after the family returned home.
Jack proudly took to social media to announce the arrival of his baby girl where he said Roxy is going to be "the greatest mum ever".
The comedian sweetly penned: "Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn't have even imagined.
"In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever. So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid.
"I also wore sketchers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full blown dad now."
The couple were then flooded with congratulatory messages as they enjoyed their baby bubble. One fan wrote: "Congratulations to both of you being a parent is so rewarding my love to you both", while another said: "A massive congratulations Jack and Roxy, welcome to the world baby Whitehall".
Another joked: "Best shoe choice you’ll ever make Jack".
