Former TOWIE star James Argent breaks down in floods of tears on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins as he is forced to confront his past on the Channel 4 show.
Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins is set to return with another gripping series as stars prove they have what it takes to make the Special Forces.
In a first look at the brand-new series, Arg is seen breaking down into tears for the show's trailer in in scenes which are difficult to watch.
Love IslandandTOWIEstars are among some of the famous faces who will abandon their glamorous lifestyles as they attempt to survive the most unforgiving jungle in the world in Thung Ui, North Vietnam.
A source revealed to OK! Last year that Arg decided to take part in the next series to try and deal with some of the "demons" from his past.
"He's decided to sign up because he's in great health now, he's sober, he's doing it to try and deal with some of the demons from his past," the source explained.
Arg recently took to Instagram to confirm that he will feature in the latest Channel 4 series and that is was one of the “hardest physical and mental chalenges” of his entire life.
Arg penned: “I’m honoured to reveal that I have taken part in this years #SASWhoDaresWins. It was honestly one of the hardest physical and mental challenges of my life.
"A year before I entered the course I was weighing 27 stone and I couldn’t even tie my own shoe laces. To even pass the medical to compete was a win in itself.
"I tried my very best, I hope people see a different side to me and I make everyone proud."
Arg has gone through quite a journey over the last few years, after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery in May 2021 which helped the 34 year old lose a colossal 14 stone in weight.
The reality star has overhauled his lifestyle and been open about his journey to sobriety after a struggle with drink and drugs in the past.
James has candidly detailed his battle with addiction in the past as well as his health problems but says he is in a much happier place since the gastric sleeve procedure he had two years ago
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns to Channel 4 on September 26 at 9.30pm.
