The Only Way Is Essex star James Lock has been spotted for the first time since his ex-girlfriend, fellow TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou, had been seriously injured in a car accident while travelling in Turkey.
The 35 year old star was pictured today in Essex as filming got underway for the latest series of TOWIE.
Dressed casually for his return to the set, James opted for a white short sleeved T-shirt and stone coloured chinos as he met up with his fellow cast mates to shoot some scenes over a drink for the popular ITV reality series.
James was seen talking with his fellow co-stars Amy Childs, Pete Wicks, Saffron Lempriere, Jordan Brook and Elma Pazar.
It comes two days after Yaz's horror car crash which sadly claimed the life of her on-off boyfriend and friend, Jake McLean.
Yazmin herself was critically injured in the crash and required immediate treatment in intensive care, but an update released on Monday revealed she is now in a stable condition having undergone surgery to treat her injuries.
According to reports, 28 year old Yazmin was travelling in the vehicle with Jake when it left the road and fell over the cliff side.
Jake, 33, was understood to have been driving at the time when he lost control of the car in Bodrum, south-west Turkey.
Despite being injured herself, Yazmin was reportedly able to free herself from the wreckage, before climbing through "thorny bushes" and up a steep bank where the car had landed.
It was here, that an official told MailOnline, she had been able to flag down another driver who called the emergency services.
Police, ambulance and fire crews rushed to the scene to assist the injured pair, according to reports, but were sadly unable to save Jake.
Yazmin meanwhile, was severely injured and transported to hospital where she is receiving critical medical care, according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: "Apparently Jake was driving when he lost control of the car and it went off a cliff.”
So far, James has made no public statement concerning the crash which left his former girlfriend critically injured, and instead appeared to be focusing his attention on work.
The pair had previously dated on-and-off for years before going their separate ways, but rumours emerged earlier this year that the two may even have rekindled their romance.
While James is yet to break his silence on the accident, many of his fellow TOWIE co-stars have offered their thoughts and prayers to Yazmin while wishing her a speedy recovery.
“Pull through Yaz. Praying your okay!” wrote Roman Hackett.
While Chloe Brockett commented: “Thinking of you Yaz, please keep Yaz in your prayers tonight.”
Alongside their best wishes for Yazmin, several others also paid tribute to Jake, who sadly died as a result of the crash.
One star who has felt the loss particularly hard is Lauren Goodger, who previously dated Jake. She wrote on Instagram: “RIP Jake. I have no words right now. My thoughts are with your family & friends.”
A source from the reality series also added: "We're crossing our fingers and praying she makes a full recovery quickly. It's beyond shocking, just devastating for everyone connected to the show.
"Jake and Yaz are both very well known in our circles, and while he wasn't a saint this is just unbelievably tragic. Everyone is stunned."
